What film did you watch last night?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - 7/10

I enjoyed it, despite going in with low expectations based on reviews I had seen. Whilst it can be criticised for trying to fit too much in, in never felt like it was dragging, and a lot of the small things will likely set up the story for other films in the universe.

Still undecided with some of the casting -
- Ben Affleck as Batman seems ok, but just doesn't seem "right" after Christian Bale.
- Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, just didn't seem to have the presence (maybe I expected someone a bit older?), although otherwise faultless.
- Jeremy Irons as Alfred - again nothing wrong with him, but after having just got used to Sean Pertwee in Gotham as Alfred, and having been spoilt with Michael Caine in the Nolan trilogy, just seemed a bit odd (probably doesn't help that the only thing that comes to mind when I think of Irons, is Die Hard with a Vengeance :) )

Tyson in Ip Man 3 was a beast. All three films are just great. Donnie Yen is awesome.

There's also a pretty decent prequel. The Legend is Born: Ip Man, although it's from a different director, it has a lot of the same case.

I thought the anti-Japanese feeling of the movies probably came across better to a Chinese audience.

Revenge of the Sith.

On the whole rather enjoyable, though a little of the cheese from episode two was apparent in the early parts of the film 7.5/10.

Still Alice. I've had this on my netflix list for some time, finally got round to watching it this afternoon. A really good film.

Gone With the Wind - bit of a change in pace but any film in the IMDB Top 250 has to be worth checking out so I invested almost four hours over two nights to watch this - it has an intermission built in so a good time to break. The film itself was more like a history lesson that real entertainment but it was impressive in most part and looked good for something over 70 years old! Maybe edited down it could have been better but it is a real old epic of the old south. 3/5

I think it might be a good film but I found it so miserable that I left to play video games. It's the kind of film that makes me wonder why you would want to watch it?

Knock Knock

Omg I don't know what to say, probably the worst film i've watched in a long time! Soooooooooooo bad!

1/10 no joke
