What film did you watch last night?

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation

Pretty much forgot I'd watched it as soon as it ended.

I won't score because for some reason I just don't like the series. Can't say why, just doesn't do it for me at all.

Enchanted. I've not seen I before. It's pretty funny. Lots of poking fun at all the animated Disney films. Amy Adams and James Marsden do a good job of playing it straight. The big musical number in Central Park is great.

World War Z - 7.5/10

I've not read the book so can't compare, but I thought it was pretty good despite all the hate it was getting. A bit silly in parts but very enjoyable.

The one bad thing is that Brad Pitt cannot play a normal guy at all. He just looks too much like a superstar in every role he plays. Surprised the zombies/undead weren't cured instantly after seeing a real life God amongst men. :p

Star Wars: The Force Awakens 6/10

If there had been no other Star Wars movies, this would have been a great movie. It's plot is nearly the exact same as the A New Hope. It was visually very good and some great special effects but the fight scenes on the ground weren't very exciting. The space battles looked amazing, but, always felt detached from the action.

At the end of the day, the biggest disappointment for me was how similar to the original it was.

10 Cloverfield Lane - Solid 8/10

Really enjoyed this, Jon Goodman was superb and Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a personal lust of mine , so all was good from that point of view.

Hard to explain in too much detail the score I have given it as I dont want to give away the plot. But speaking generally, good acting, good claustrophobic feel, few twists in the story and a fitting companion film to the first Cloverfield movie. I really hope that there are more films set within the Cloverfield universe as I feel that a good franchise could be created from it. Especially if each film is its own story from within the Cloverfield 'timeframe' rather than the films being directly connected.

Tangled. It's brilliant. It's funny, exciting, dramatic, and it looks absolutely incredible. One of Disney's best. Miles better than Frozen.

I thought so too, it one of few Disney movies I can watch over again, which is good when the kids keep watching it over.

"Big Game" with Samuel L. Jackson as PotUS and a slightly odd looking kid who helps him escape bad guys. Very predictable (as in you can see the entire plot within seconds of meeting the characters) but harmless fun. The real star (in my eyes at least) was the beautiful scenery that is shown throughout.
The way one of the bad guys meets his fate had me in hysterics. It's just such a p*** take on so many action films that it's great. It's played straight but it could be directly from "Hot Shots" or similar. :D
6/10
