I've not seen the jungle book, though it's on my list. Cinderella is good, though I had to grit my teeth a bit through Helena Bonham-Carter's fairy godmother.

I know wifey wants to watch it, might give it a go during tomorrows lazy afternoon.
Agreed with your score a definite 9/10 for me too. Wasn't sure what to expect as had seen nothing about this film before seeing it. Didn't think it was predictable or cliche just thought it was fantastic from start to finish. I just wish I'd remembered some tissues the last 20 minutes are absolutely gut wrenching. Stunning special effects and art direction and great acting performances especially from young Lewis MacDougall.

I'd heard so many bad things about this, so I wasn't expecting much but, actually, it's not a bad sci-fiish action movie. Certainly not the worst superhero movie ever, and the dropping of one of the most stupid superman tropes is welcome. Not the greatest movie ever but fun to watch and pretty in parts.

Ink - watched it a few year back as well and its still as good now as it was then, it starts off slow after the initial intro but builds into an all inspiring finale.
For a film that had a 250k budget its amazing and for that you need to forgive some of the poor makeup/acting but overall it doesn't distract you to much.

Zod was a huge dissapointment for me and superman played out as a charisma vacuum .
For low budget punching above it's weight, Rodriguez el mariachi had a reported 3K budget and is very watchable in my opinion.

The Accountant: Ben Affleck's Rain Man bookkeeper is a high functioning autistic savant Jason Bourne-a-like. Lots of action with a bit of humour and accountant porn sprinkled around. Affleck is actually a good actor, playing it restrained. Even his slightly stooped stance, mumbled lines and unwillingness to look people in the eyes captures his unlikely character well. The ending is a bit of an unlikely cliché, but give some of the best lines and action scenes.
Good fun and better than expected, though autism is rarely the super power as portrayed in the movie.

Zootopia - very surprised it was that good. Full of humour and fun. Tackling racism in a very clever way. Going in thinking it be one for the kids but was pleasantly surprised and entertaining. Animation really capture the expressions for each character. 9/10.

The Canal - Was one of those get into bed gone 1am, turn TV on, flicking through channels, get to Horror Channel only to find something just starting and then being particularly engrossed for 90 minutes or so 
Very good movie, brilliant acting by the lead male, pretty creepy this one. A British mix of The Ring and The Grudge, well worth a watch, especially for the on screen wife 8/10

The Girl on a train - 6.5/10
I liked it. When it was tense it was very tense. The twist was good although SWMBO & I guessed it with about 30-40mins to go. However it didn't build enough pressure between the tense scenes.
Worth a watch though!
