What film did you watch last night?

Watched Surrogates on friday night, I enjoyed it but it could have been longer with more expansion on the story.

Watched Indiana Jones 4 last night, bit of fun, not the best one. I think the reason the other 3 were so loved was because they didn't have the SFX we do these days so it was more impressive. Watching this one, I didn't think.........how did they do that stunt, it was cool!?!?! Now I just think, cgi cgi cgi cgi cgi..............
 
watched Babylon A.D. was ok

read up on imdb, that some 70 minutes were cut from the original film to fit into 93 minutes, and Fox Studio had meddled with the entire production, and there was a spat between Fox and Mathieu Kassovitz (Director) was never realised properly due to cost and time overrun, a real shame..

perhaps i'll look for the uncut version..

I Love You, Man.

Absolutely fantastic film. I really, really enjoyed it. I was expecting something generic and clichéd, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's heavy on the sentiment of "bromance" but if that doesn't phase you, I can't recommend the movie enough. The casting is bang on and the soundtrack is lovely. Don't miss out!
 
The Truman Show
Fantastic story and a very clever film. Jim Carrey deserved far more recognition than he got.

RoboCop
Blood, bad language, big robots and tons of violence. What more could you ask for in an action film? Just awesome.
 
Superbad - Quite funny in places, though the formula of kids, parties, alcohol etc wasn't anything new. Didn't laugh at this as much as Super Troopers.

Rambo: First Blood - what can i say, classic Rambo/Sly action. Probably my fave of the Rambo franchise.

Ooops, missed one off my list from last night (get the night off from the girlfriend as she watches all her tripe from the weekend - X factor, Make me a model etc etc).

Spaceballs - Classic Mel Brooks comedy. Soooo funny.
