What film did you watch last night?

The Orphanage - not seen it before, watched it following several recommendations on here. Brilliant atmosphere, genuinely chilling, would recommend. 4/5.

Went to the cinema, saw "Gamer" starring Gerard Butler (300) and Michael C Hall (Dexter).

Probably give it a 6/10. Story was predictable but there was good action and a lot of boobeh.

Shame, the ultra-violence wasn't really needed.. almost like they wanted the 18 certificate.

I watched Army of Darkness. Make no mistake it is a stupid film, but never seen it before and it was an enjoyable watch which i would give 6/10. Probably one that is better when you're a young teen and shouldn't be watching it. I would say the IMDB rating is slightly too high.

I don't. Bruce Cambell is a leg end, and Evil Dead, 2 and Army of Darkness are amazing. They're true B-movie cult classics, proper tongue in cheek and good fun.

If you enjoyed it and fancy something similar but more up to date, try Bubba Hotep... again with Bruce Campbell. An aging Elvis Impersonator is caught off guard when his retirement home is overrun with mummys! Awesome!

Dark blue world http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0244479/ excellent ww2 film with some good aerial battles with footage apparently taken from unused clips of battle of britian(1969) but to be honest it was hard to tell because they had cleaned it up so brilliantly.
Movie is czech with subtitles but that just added to the story, highly reccomended for ww2 film buffs i really ejoyed it anyway 8/10 hidden gem :)

I watched Burn after reading last night. Heard so many bad things about the film I went in thinking it was going to be really bad, but thought it was OK. Story is really random but its not as bad as a lot of films I've seen.

Paul Blart - Mall Cop now there is a terrible terrible film.

I watched Oliver Stone's The Doors earlier. Great film, although how accurate it really is I don't know and it's filled with the usual Oliver Stone weirdness although I found it to be an interesting biopic. If it was accurate, Jim Morrison was pretty much off his head 24/7, which is crazy.

Honestly though... what were you expecting?

Not much to be honest, I had very low expectations so was thinking at the end of the film I would at least say something like "well that was rubbish but the action was good" but no, instead the whole thing was just bad bad bad! :(

Oh well, live and learn I guess.
