What film did you watch last night?

Watched hurt locked last night for the first time. Was good i like that kind of film but probably needed slightly more action in it considering it was over 2 hours. 7/10
It was that long because loads of it was sitting around ;)
Like when he had the sniper on those guys... that bit was 10minutes long i swear!

X Men Origins - Wolverine. Anothr film which I sort of wanted to watch and didn't expect much. It was OK, some good shots and I like the character. 3/5

I watched Mulholland Drive for the first time and enjoyed it (lesbian action :D) but I really didn't get it. What is meant to have gone on there?

Also tried to watch Disaster Movie. Keyword - tried. I sort expected it to suck totally bad in terms of acting and the storyline but movies like this have tended to be funny for a large part but this just sucked balls.

*** SPOILERS! ***

Re-watch the last ten minutes, the answers are all there. The whole of the film is actually a dream, hence the surreality of it. She (Kidman) wakes up near the end of the film, hence the shift.

DVD or Blu-ray? I've seen it umpteen times on DVD but haven't found a big enough chunk of time to watch it on Blu-ray yet. :p

DVD, got it free with the Sunday Times a while back and it was just lying around.

Outlander.

An interesting attempt at the classic Sci-Fi/Viking genre. Some poor acting mostly, but some interesting concepts and it was nice to see Ron Pearlman flailing two huge stone hammers around

Date Night

As a big fan of The Daily Show I was pleased to see some cameo appearances :D
Overall the movie was funny and sharp and Tina Fey is rather fit in a dress ^_^

Signs

I enjoyed it. Ok, the second half wasn't as good as the first half and there were a couple of things that may have been silly if you wanted to be picky, but it was entertaining and it made my hair stand on end a couple of times. 7/10

The aliens are here, they can fly across the space but they cant open the door

Having enjoyed the romp that was Dog Soldiers, I thought I'd give the director a chance with Doomsday. Alas, even Rhona Mitra's spectacular bottom couldn't save this crater.

I just started laughing when a 125cc scrambler kept up with a Bentley Continental GT, and that was the more believable end of the stunt spectrum. :) Seriously avoid, do something else instead like slam your hand in a car door and go down A&E.

Final car chase = shocking, the rest of the film is quite an enjoyable romp if you dont take it too seriously :-)

10/10. Perfect double feature.

The Book of Eli.

Some interesting set pieces, an interesting concept, an awful twist that didn't fit with the rest of the film

Predator.

A classic. "You're Bleeding!", "I ain't got time to bleed!"
