The Doors, one i've not seen since my teenage years. what an incoherent mess, the first half was ok but then it just lost it. some of the cinematography was reminiscent of breaking bad though.
Val kilmer also does a good impression of Jim Morrison on the plus side.

Started watching Casino Royale for some reason, then couldn't turn it off! 8/10.

DC was excellent as Bond and Eva Green - wow!

A couple of questions:

Mid poker game Bond gets posioned and returns to the table, the next scene is him comforting Green in the shower and then we are back to the table - there was no mention of a break and they had just had one, it seemed the continuity was off - anyone notice this?

Ending, Le Chiffre died too early and Mr White and the guy with the black glasses lens weren't fully explained - the ending got wrapped up a bit too quickly :(

Captain America : The First Avenger
Captain Marvel

I used to just sit in front of the latest release and be bombared by CGI and more than not get bored half way through, the plot lines and connections passing me by. So decided to watch them in chronological order and I have to say two films in and it's already a better experience.

The better half still can't be arsed mind you.

After watching the Ferris reunion on youtube I decided to watch a couple of other John Hughs films. Sixteen candles and The Breakfast Club, enjoyed both but not in the same league or as funny as Ferris Buelers Day Off

Casino Royale is the best of the Craig bonds and frankly, one of the better overall Bond movies.

In regards to the mid scene, struggling to remember but isn't there a big fight in the stairwell with one of the black villains? Vesper see's it and is a little traumatised.

As for the deaths at the end, my thought is it's deliberately abrupt to show how dispensible they are. Have you seen the next 3 movies before? It sort of gets explained, although Spectre is a mess of a film.

don't tell me people actually liked it? the only thing it has going for it is the name of the movie and the character.

if batman didn't exist people wouldn't have watched this turd of a movie

Everyone I know who has seen it rates it and I thought it was one of the better movies released that year. Each to their own, I guess.

I liked Spectre but it is pretty average as Waltz isn't great in it (Andrew Scott is though) and one of the action sequences is just daft.

The bit where the entire base blows up after bond shoots a valve or something

@Jokester there is a school of thought that everything from that point on is all a dream/fantasy in bonds mind after the torture.

One of those times I wish they were all right, movie/franchise could be salvageable then

You're definitely in the minority. Tbh, it has so little to do with Batman, it would be fine if it was called something else and was about some other guy tbh. I assume you thought you were going to see a superhero movie?
no, I don't usually watch super hero stuff and my fav film is shawshank which doesnt really have any action
