One of my favourites, a great movie:
Might give this a watch, hugely underrated actor (probably something to do with vampire fetish he had....). Good Time was absolutely brilliant.
One of my favourites, a great movie:
i watched the preview you posted, that was enough for me. looks like a romantic drama, the type of film that my partner would be interested in.
No. Poor logic.
Have you watched the movie? Do you understand it? What makes you think in this way?
you are aware it's not just women watch romantic dramas?i watched the preview you posted, that was enough for me. looks like a romantic drama, the type of film that my partner would be interested in.
Very true, though they are not called 'Chick Flicks' for no reason.you are aware it's not just women watch romantic dramas?

i wouldn't call a romantic drama a chick flick. but that's maybe just me. just because it has a romantic element to it doesn't automatically make it a chick flick.Very true, though they are not called 'Chick Flicks' for no reason.![]()
My missus, who loves Romcoms, Chick Flicks etc, says this film is a Chick Flick and as she is an authority on everything, (according to her) I'm not going to argue with that.i wouldn't call a romantic drama a chick flick. but that's maybe just me. just because it has a romantic element to it doesn't automatically make it a chick flick.
If you watch the first minute of the preview you linked then I would agree, though if you watch the whole 2min30 then you should come away with the fact that it is a Drama/Romance; precisely what it is classified as on IMDb.Very weird. From the preview, I wouldn't judge for the gender preferences - I would say the opposite - it is targeted at young men, not young women. Or in the worst case, equally for both genders.

No. A 'chick flick' just has to involve 'Love & Romance'. It can also include either Comedy or Drama but the defining characteristic is 'Love and Romance'.Comedies like Legally Blonde would be described as "chick flicks".
This is quite different.

Yes, you obviously don't but you would be wrong.I don't think so. A chick flick is something feminine, describing the daily lives of women, that will be liked by and targeted at women.
....They generally tend to appeal more to a younger female audience and deals mainly with love and romance...
That was indeed what I was meaning. Sorry my post possibly wasn't clear enough!I think he was targeting to the actual Deepwater Horizon event, which was in April 2010.
I think I'm a little bit unique because I'm female and I hate chick flicks!!Very true, though they are not called 'Chick Flicks' for no reason.![]()
I'm yet to see the 2nd conjuring but I loved the first one!Conjuring 2 - Enfield 7/10
Been watching the Conjuring movies ready for No.3 coming out today. This one isn’t bad but while based on real events, the fact it was pretty much debunked as a hoax makes some of the more extreme story elements a bit incongruous. The tatty council house is a real Tardis job, too. Average UK semi on the outside but inside the rooms are huge and as for the basement…
My favourite in the series is still probably The Nun, that was genuinely scary.
