Skiptrace (2016) - 3/10
The fight scenes are entertaining slapstick and martial arts, the goofy and silly fun that we’ve come to love from Chan’s movies, but everything else between these scenes is poor.
The plot and characters are weak, the acting is nothing special and the series of hijinks they get caught up in become more and more silly and disjointed and irrelevant as the film progresses.
There is some interesting bits on modern Mongolian culture and other eastern traditions as well as some stunning scenery, but the combination of eastern and western styles doesn’t last and the ending was terribly cheesy.
