What film did you watch last night?

Weird Al Yankovic story.

I love Daniel Radcliffe. He could have done some generic Hollywood stuff and watched his career fizzle out but no. He's choosen some strange and out there films and I think they're all great.

This is stupid as hell, it's a parody of a man who parodies. I thought it was funny.
Don't take this one seriously guys.

Ambulance 8/10

This just premiered on Sky Go, I watched it when it first came out a while back but wanted to watch it again and very much enjoyed it for the second time. I don't care what anyone says, it's a brain off, non stop thrill ride. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Smile 5/10

Honestly I expected more from this. It felt like a pale imitation of other better films and the central concept was not strong enough to drag out for 2 hours. On the plus side I thought the lead actress was great, on the negative side it wasn't good, but it wasn't bad enough to be entertaining either, just average in every way.

What's the uk version?
Phone 999 and no ambulance for 3 hours while a loved one detieriates before your eyes?

I'm pretty sure I've seen most or all of this before, but a fair bit I couldn't recall.

Regardless, I found it to be a thoroughly enjoyable watch and would definitely recommend it.

Thank you so much. I've had an urge to watch this again recently but couldn't remember the title and my google-fu failed me!

Finished watching All Quiet on the Western Front.

Action-packed and horrific.

From an entertainment aspect, I enjoyed it quite a lot more the further it developed.

I thought the use of sound/music was very effective during the battle scenes.

I thought it was a very good film as well, but i disagree about the music. I thought the composer was drunk at times. The obnoxiously loud synth and random drum fills didn't work for me at all.

Enola Holmes 2 (2022) - 8/10

Awkward, quirky and charming with a great Victorian setting and style.

The characters are good as is the balance of street life and social stuffiness with undertones of humour and serious drama in every scene.

The plot is great, getting more complex as it unfolds but never being obtuse and the explanations along the way keep things light, although I wasn’t a fan of the direct to camera pieces.

The carriage chase scene in the second half is a bit silly, but very entertaining and funny and perks up what is mostly an unnecessary scene.
