What film did you watch last night?

Anti-Matter (2016) - 6/10. Uni professor or researcher or something like that creates a wormhole. I think I've bought vehicles that may have cost more than this film cost to make (and I don't buy expensive vehicles). Acting from some of them was patchy in quality, effects were just about ok, but I quite liked it. It had a certain indie movie done on a budget with hope charm, it's afaik a british film, story was quite imaginative.

Got 3 months of Disney+ for some Tesco clubcard points so Watched Star Wars 1-9 , for some reason quite liked 1-3 , 4-6 where ok didnt realise how bad the acting was though , 7-9 where not as bad as i remember , going to watch my favourite next Rogue One.

Personally the wooden acting in 1-3 is way worse than any acting in the original trilogy (4-6)

Not to say the prequel trilogy are terrible, especially 2 and 3, there are some brilliant sequences in them.

Highlander 2.

WTF did I just watch :confused: I re-watch the original ever now and then but never the 2nd movie, Its a movie I've seen ages ago and I remembered it being bad then but bloody hell I wasn't prepared for this movie.

I had totally forgotten about the alien planet bit.

Is there a worse sequel to an 80's movie than this?

1/10 I guess Lambert and Connery were good on screen together but that's it.

The second one needs to be erased from history! I mean none of the sequels could touch the original anyway, but Highlander 2 was just silly. Looking back, maybe this was when the world started worrying about the Ozone layer, but still, don't need to really link that topic to immortal warriors beheading each other.

Watch the 3rd one. It's better than 2, mainly in the way it sort of just ignores the second movie and is actually more about highlanders/beheadings (similar to the original film) The TV series was good from what I remember as well. and that leads to Highlander endgame that has both the TV and Movie cast in it.

Whilst the sequel was in the 90's Escape from New York (1981) and was my favourite film as a kid. Escape from L.A. an utter train wreck of a movie, almost in the so bad its good category.
 
The Room Next Door - I watched on the off-chance, and just based on a feeling really. I actually quite enjoyed it. 7/10.

Civil War 7/10 - Plenty of famous faces in this one. Sign of maybe where we might end up ?
The Butler 8/10 - Never got around to watching this one. Forrest Whittaker is great. Good history lesson at the same time! :)

agree with the ending. But I enjoyed it until the crazy over the top ending lol 8/10
