What film did you watch last night?

Police academy 7, am honestly lost for words. Awful just doesn't cover it Considering it had Christopher Lee, Ron Pearlman and Claire Floraine? (Meet Joe Black female lead) in it, I thought it would be way better. The first few are decent, but they definitely decided to scrape the barrel for the last few!

Klaus (2019) - 10/10

A fun and heartwarming Christmas tale full of comical characters, quirky animation, funny moments and great slapstick action.

It’s fast paced, full of humour and has a wonderful tale full of friendship and magic throughout.

Highly enjoyable with good emotional pop songs, even if they do feel a bit out of place.
Only just watched this last night with my wife, what a great little Christmas movie.

The first 10-15 mins were a bit weird, but then it gets going and like you say is emotional, funny and just generally very heartwarming

ok, the same jokes get a bit repetitive at times but what a laugh. Jason Isaacs and Rupert Friend are brilliant. 9/10

Napoleon - 7/10

I enjoyed it, though not knowing a lot about his history I had the nagging issue of not knowing how much was blatantly fiction (like the attacking of the pyramids - not even sure why he decided to film that as it brought nothing to the scene)

My Feral Heart - 6/10

Low budget British movie about a downs syndrome young man whose life is turned upside down after his mum dies and he goes into care.

It's no Peanut Butter Falcon, but at 83mins it's a short watch and engaging. It's still on iplayer until around 23rd Dec I believe.

Quest for Fire on Amazon , the quality is a direct rip from VHS ( a well worn tape as well ) .
One of my favourite films , saw it at the cinema in the early 80's.
Believe it was Ron Perlmans first film and the other neanderthal is a dead ringer for Prince.
And it has a naked Rae Dawn Chong.

The Family Plan - 4/10 - An inoffensive story you've seen a million times before and done better than this (True Lies etc). The cast put in a workman-like performance with, again, nothing particularly good/bad about their performance, the cinematography and effects are all OK not good/bad, the score is OK not good/bad etc etc.

It feels like something created to make "content" rather than because the director, cast, crew, really wanted to make the best film they could, and that lack of "care/effort" really comes through in the utter blandness see here, it's OK at best not good/bad, and the day after finishing it it'll be gone from your mind before the weekend is over.
