What film did you watch last night?

Paranormal Activity 2

So i haven't seen the first one but i got a run down by a friend of what had happened. In my opinion the build up was rather good for much of the movie with small occurences happening making the audience jump however there was a scene or 2 that was slightly humourous. In general i thought it was a fairly good horror not as good as i had thought it would have been with all the hype surrounding it but then again the talking in the cinema didn't help that with the kiddy winks being off school for half term!

Will watch the first one tonight hopefully it is better..

At Cinema - The Social Network, enjoyed it for the most part. Can understand it may not be everyones cup of tea especially if they were expecting some facebooked, liked, lol, block film

On Blu
Nausicaa - excellent
The Dark Knight - excellent
Fallen Angels - Part of a Wong Kar-Wai trilogy (in the mood for love). Beautiful at times, but also it can seem to go no-where for some. I enjoyed this which isn't bad for a blind purchase, based soley on the director

Sympath for Mr Vengeance - Part of Chan-wook Park trilogy (Oldboy). It's more of a black comedy than the ultra-violence tag it get's labelled with. Another one i enjoyed as a blind purchase based of the director. Quirky, unfortunate and a little sad

Black Hawk Down

After having it for a while, I had an empty house last night (no kids) so was able to turn it on, and turn it up!

Guns, explosions, helicopters, sounded wonderful on the home cinema system!

Last night watched

Kick Ass- Such a good film, for some reason I wasn't expecting that much from it but it was intertaining from start to finish. Some of the violence and language is so shocking you can't help but laugh.

Unthinkable- Was pretty good also, Samual L Jackson plays the part well imo.

I love you, man.

Jesus what a terrible comedy, a comedy is supposed to be funny not irritating, how many times do they have to milk the "Oh did I just say that" thing, the guy just annoyed me all the way through until I eventually gave up and switched it off

Just finished working at the London Film Festival.

Watching LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring at the moment. It's on TV which is a rarity, for some reason the second is always on, but seeing the first is a rarity. It's fantastic, better than I remember when seeing it at the cinema. It just feels utterly epic.
