What film did you watch last night?

Paranormal Activities 2

Scared the living daylights out of me, I literally felt uncomfortable watching it.

In terms of how it compares to the first, I find they kind of balance each other out, the second has a much more solid story, however the amount of camera angle changes kind of takes away from the "home made" feel, the effects and dramatic scenes are much bigger, however they don't do anything too crazy, they keep it within the boundaries that the first has set in terms of what is possible.

One thing I think this movie does allot better than the first is what it makes you think it going to happen, every time I found myself thinking "oh it's just building up for a small thing", something massive happened and vise versa, one of the best scenes which made the ENTIRE cinema jump and one person actually scream (not me, my jaw was locked in terror) started off so damn normal it felt like watching the Big Brother contestants sitting on a sofa.

To say the least if you enjoyed the first you will enjoy this because it's basically the first on a "slightly" bigger scale without sacrificing much.

Watched Scott Pilgrim tonight, it was an epic blast of a film and the fight scenes were awesome.

Saw 3D

6/10

Excellent gore as always. Finally find out what happened to the doc in the first one. Little bit of crap acting now and then. Far too much screaming and shouting some times. The 3D seem to work better when it shouldn't have! But at least finally an end to ot all. Or is it........

burke and hare

6/10

Quite funny but not something you would want to watch more than once

I also watched Scott Pilgrim last night. I wasn't sure I'd like it but when I got into it I thought it was the most fun I've had watching a film for as long as I can remember :D
You have to let go of the fact it's a bit silly and just enjoy it.

I love the way Michael Sera has made a successful career out of playing the same character over and over as well :p

Frozen - 0.5/10

Pathetic film. I think it was aiming to be realistic but I felt like I was watching a Final Destination sequel.

Paranormal Activity 2 - 7/10

I liked the first one (apart from some of the character decisions that were stupid but obvious plot devices) but I like this one even more. Tied in very well as a prequel to the first one.

7/10

It's just not relative to anything and not funny at all.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

I didn't know what to think about it. The story seemed weak and I didn't really like much about the film at all but I enjoyed it for some reason....

Conflicted.
