What film did you watch last night?

Last film for me was the lives of others. Really enjoyed that especially as I learned a lot about the STASI during my german A level. I would reccomended good bye lenin as well to people who are interested in east german life.

I'm looking forward to the tourist which is by the same director

All great films and they include some amazing peices of film making.

I promise I'll do a bit post about what I've been watching :p

I'll just tell you I watched Toy Story 3 on Blu Ray today, amazing looking film and an amazing film as well :)

One of the best trilogy's (spelling) ever made, behind The Lord of the Rings :)

Tron Legacy. Great effects and style, and the story was passable enough. Olivia Wilde is gorgeous, too, which helps.

Must see the original one of these days...

9 Songs - I had been aware of the film for a while (it being controversial and all) but never bothered to find out more until seeing a few more things by Michael Winterbottom, most recently The Trip. I was disappointed by this film really, I just felt sorry for the bloke as she did not seem to have any feelings for him at all after he declares his love for her and cooks several meals for her. Very short film with a lot of sex in it - controversial for being un-simulated. Liked the Antarctic scenes though. 2/5

Indiana Jones and the Raiders of The Lost Ark.

Was on BBC HD and i have to say that it looked great, easily the best of all the indian jones movies in my opinion.

9/10

Bridge to Terabithia. Yes I cried. :(

My girlfriend and I sat down to watch this the other day as we fancied something light-hearted after a difficult week and thought an unheard of Disney film would fit that bill...

[spoilers]

She sobbed and sobbed for what was pretty much the final 45 minutes! I was more shocked than sad and couldn't believe that content would exist in the film! Emotionally stressful but a great story :)

Last night I watched...

Chaos

A standard Statham-esque film full of cheesey one-liners, explosions and plenty of 'ard graftin comon lads wheyyy shoota son' banter. It's a fairly well constructed thriller, well suited to its target audience and a perfect no-brainer accompaniment to... let's say... curry.

5.5/10
