What film did you watch last night?

Sherlock Holmes

Only the second time I've watched it, good film looking forward to the sequel later this year

8/10

Have you read the book?

i have, when it first came out.
even though he was a smuggler, he would never do class a drugs.
it was interesting in how he startrd out out in wales and went to oxford, and then to a major drug smuggler

i watched The Town last night. i really enjoyed this, 9/10, but not as good as Heat

the black swan

can see why people say its a good movie
but personally i didnt enjoy it that much
might be that me & ballet dont get on well :p

The Ugly Truth - 7/10
I know it's rubbish but for some reason I enjoy this film quite a lot :)
The start is great.

Inception - Got to say I was ever so slightly dissapointed. I know a lot of people have built the film up until it is THE film of the 21 Century. Anyway I hugely enjoyed it for what it was, some of the action scenes, especially the hotel corridor scene, were breathtaking. Very solid 4/5 not quite 5 as I was expecting a little more (don't know what though!).

**Slight Spoiler**

I suppose that I wanted a bit more 'dreamy' dreams but I know that they had to keep close to reality to ensure that the target didn't twig what was going on but I loved the folding of Paris for example and thought that the limbo state would be more fantastical.

Watchmen - The Ultimate Cut (Blu Ray)

If I was to describe this in one word then I'd say comprehensive. At around 3 and a half hours it it's a long watch but at the same time does not feel tedious (although you may need a toilet break!). Anyway I never heard of or read the comics but I really like the film and Blu Ray transfer is good too.

8/10

The book would struggle to be more superior to the film.

also watched the town last night, i think heat was probably the better film but the town was more entertaining for me, 9/10 too.

Death Race 2..not bad but not a patch on the original tbh...7/10

Also watched Due date last night, pretty funny i thought...id give it 8/10

Ended off last night watching Dinner for Schmucks....found that pretty hilarious 9/10.

The Fighter - 8/10. Great film, really good acting especially from Bale. All the boxing looked realistic and I liked the TV affect of it all.

The Dilemma - 4/10. Poor IMO. I like Vaughan but this was not his best, the other guy who i can't remember the name of I find just very very irritating and unfunny. He was just as bad in Grown Ups.

Watched The Pacific over the last 2 days. Before watching the last episode both myself and the OH said that we hadn't built up the same emotional bond that we did with band of brothers.

Well you wouldnt believe it if you'd seen us balling our eyes out at the end especially during the extra profiles.
