What film did you watch last night?

Taken - 8/10 - Was not expecting this to be a good film at all, really enjoyed it though. Man On Fire meets Jason Bourne :)

Solomon Kane - 7/10 - Another I wasn't expecting to be any good. Sort of a Van Helsing crossed with LOTR.

Did it make you feel really uncomfortable too? Boy! it did me, to the point where I was shuffling about on the sofa, wanting to look away or turn it off, but I just kept telling myself ''it's just a film you stupid boy, he's not really stuck in there" :D

Glad I watched it though... - without spoiling anything - the whole bit surrounding his employers got me feeling really angry aswell, purely because I can imagine real life going exactly like it did in the film.

I've seen two great films recently, this and Threads, both of which I don't think I'll ever forget, or ever watch again for that matter :p

Threads is an awesome film. Its old but tthat doesnt really matter because it is one of the scariest films i know. Its terrifying now and i cant imagine what it was like when it first aired. For anyone who is interested it is free to watch on google videos.

It is really good, isn't it :)

Watched a few this weekend..

Harry Brown - 8/10 really surprised by this, heard good things, but never got around to watching it. Caine is a legend!

Curious Case of Benjemin Button - 7/10 Not sure really, had a Forrest Gump kinda feel to it, but was missing something.

Catfish (2010)
Some interesting stuff. Held my attention.
7/10

Children of men (2006)
Finally got round to watching it. Absolutely fantastic. Best film i've seen in a long time.
9/10

Robin Hood (2010), I really enjoyed this movie from start to finish and although the movie was 2:30 hrs long, this pacing felt perfect and there were never any dull moments - 8/10!

Life as we know it - 6/10
Nothing particularly good about this movie but nothing really bad either.

The Tourist - 7/10
Not too bad but a bit obvious how it will end IMO

Currently watching Another day in paradise (1998) by larry clarke already seeing a lot of similaritys to 'drugstore cowboy' which i watched the night before, seems pretty good so far.
