What film did you watch last night?

Black Swan, which I thought was fantastic and kept me gripped right till the credits, a few scene in particular caught the imagination ;)

Excellent film, which I will probably go and watch again given the chance!

Also watched Tangled, which wasn't half as bad as I was expecting, kept me entertained throughout. Shame about the singing parts in all honesty, they usually tend to grind and just get on my nerves.

Black Swan - 9/10

Tangled - 7/10

Just finished watching Burke & Hare the 2010 Simon Pegg version. Really disappointed that despite and all star cast (Christopher Lee, Simon Pegg, Tim Curry etc etc) the best it could manage was a mediocre comedy performance.

I'd give it 5/10 - three of which Isla Fisher deserves for no other reason than she looks stunning in any movie she's in ;)

127 hours-

7/10

Brilliantly shot and superb acting from franco. I dont think there is anything that boyle did wrong its just the hard facts that 70% of the film is shot in a small crack in a canyon. That is a challenge to keep the film from going stale, boyle did well with the source material , its just the source material is not diverse enough for a feature length film

Inception, again. Amazing film, Christopher nolan is the best director/screenwriter in recent years. And di caprio is maturing into a very good actor, great support cast as well, particularly tom hardy.

Avatar (2009) - The first half was a bit slow and nearly put me to sleep but thankfully the second really picks up and ends up becoming a pretty enjoyable movie. 7.5/10

You and Me and Everyone We Know.

Second time I've seen it, and really rather enjoyed it. Pretty harmless, slow moving movie, but quite enjoyable. Everyone seems to have an exaggerated personality which makes it quite funny too.

7.5/10
