What film did you watch last night?

Just watched Sin City. I've watched it before and was left feeling pretty underwhelmed and it hasn't done anything for me on my second viewing. A stylish yet empty film, 5/10.

I think tonight I'll be watching Zack & Miri Make a Porno tonight, might have a blast through Taken again as well :)

Enjoyed Zack & Miri! Few funny parts, just another kinnda rom com feel good movie.

Taken, as good as ever, but never quite hits the heights of Man on Fire.

Just watched Twilight & 500 Days Of Summer.

Watched Twilight because I'm always slating it as cat nip for teenage girls (much like The Jonas Brothers are for younglings!) but I've never actually seen it. And yes, I was right. What a horrendous film. I thought a movie with this much hype and fanbase might actually have some grounding as a half decent film, but its just 2 hours of pubescent fantasy and brooding. Oh well, at least I've seen it and can continue to slate it on good terms.

500 Days Of Summer however, was fantastic. Really really enjoyable with some very nice style to boot. Must watch imo.

Watched Astro Boy while i was away on holiday, was quite good apart from Cage's voice.

and last night watched Surrogates, interesting idea

Wrong Turn 3 Left for Dead Tacky. Cheap.

Yeah its really bad. The budget started off at a low 12 million dollars for the first, then 4 million for the second and this had a 1 million dollar (£600,000) budget lol.

I hate it when they just churn out film after film, milking every penny out of a franchise. I turned if off after a few mins as it was pitiful.

-100/10 tbh :p

Alien 3 Director's Cut
Almost everything about this film is awful apart from the special effects for the Alien which are truly abysmal. How the Alien in a film made in 1979 can look better than the Alien in a film made in 1992 is beyond me.

If I was feeling generous I'd give it 4/10 because the Director's Cut makes far more sense than the theatrical release but I'm not so it gets 3/10.

Agreed on Wall-E, unfortunately my 2yr old thinks so too. It was ok the first 50-60 times :'(

So last night I watched Wall-E.....again.

Watchmen.

I wasn't blown away and felt certain things weren't quite explained clearly. Nevertheless I enjoyed the opening fight scene and a few others. I liked the style it was shot which was a bit reminiscient of Sin City at parts. Overall I was entertained and didn't feel I had wasted nearly 3 hours of my life.

Watched Twighlight last night, been hearing a lot about it recently and for some reason I thought it was a TV show with a movie spin off so thought I'd see what all the fuss was about

Bored me to death tbh, the girl especially annoyed the hell out of me. Wont be going to see the new film that's coming out.
