What film did you watch last night?

Watched Yes Man; not bad, Jim Carrey gives a fairly reserved performance in his terms but does slip the occasional gurn in there! Essentially it's a Com-Rom (emphasis on the comedy) so it does pretty much as expected in terms of plot.

I agree, It was obviously made to shock..... it worked. Certainly made you feel like he was one sadistic son of a *****.

I thought he played the part well, it took me a while to place him though, I knew I'd seen him somewhere before, half way through it clicked.... TTSCC !

Overall film wasn't bad, one or two clichés and the ending (not the overall ending, just the very last scene) was rubbish.
 
Watched 2012 the other night - not bad, decent effects but I'm not sure John Cusack is the hero type that fit this film!
Also I found myself laughing everytime the family escaped death by 1cm or 1 second! Did they really have to have that many super-close shaves!?!?!?

On the up side it seemed like a fantastic film because I watched You Dont Mess With The Zohan the night before - a truly, truly awful film! :confused:

I know Adam Sandler will never win an Oscar for his roles but this was baaaaad! :mad:

Watched Pandorum last night. Managed to last for almost an hour before switching it off and doing something more enjoyable, like the dish's ;)

Seemed nothing more than a cross between Alien and Event Horizon, both good, classic movie's. I've no idea how this managed the 7 stars IMDB gave it :eek:
 
I had the unfortunate luck of watching American Pie presents: The Book of Love last night with the wife.

Oh man it was bad, and by bad i would say its worse than all the other american pie movies after the 3rd one put together.

We smirked a little bit at the very beginning and managed a lol at the very end, everything inbetween was pure gash.

That little dirty from Eastenders was hot in it though...not hot enough to make me watch it again mind.
