What film did you watch last night?

Angels & Demons – it made The DaVinci Code look like something left out for the bin men. Ths is an entertaining adaptation of the book and has some great Roman settings. The Comune di Roma must be very pleased with the promotional video for tourism.

i just watched spirited away on bbc2. the american voices did grate but you can just about forgive it for that. it's still absolutely stunning to watch.

2012 - 8/10 for entertainment - 2/10 for substance :D It kept my eyes happy for 2hrs whilst my brain took some time off.

The Ugly Truth - 5/10 - Typical hollywood film with a few good laugh out loud moments but I really like Katherine Heigl which is the only reason I watched it :D

Just finished watching "Bury my heart at wounded knee" on C4HD, it was a rather good look at the plight of the native indians and how the white man savaged them for their land.
The scene in the snow at the end with the photographer taking pictures of the frozen bodies kind of upset me, I damn near wanted to rip a hole in spacetime and jump back and do something about it when the credits rolled and the *real* photograph of the frozen body came up.

Films about mans injustice to man always does that to me, the cyber-hippy that i am.

Le Pacte des Loups, in glorious 1080p. Sex, violence and political intrigue in 18th Century France. Does it get any better than this?

^^ Watched Blade Runner again a few years ago and found myself wondering what all the fuss was about. Impressed me in the 80s but seems very mediocre now.
