I watched that ages ago Malc :D
Kept me entertained :D

Just wanted to thank you for this post. Just finished watching Man On Fire and its one of the best films Ive seen in a very long time :). Ive said before that i don't really get emotional at films but this is one film that really got to me.

And you're right, it is better than Taken. Much, much better.

No problem, I'm a mahoosive film fan (geek) and Man on Fire is one of my all time favorite films. It's a fantastic film massivly underrated imo.

You're not alone in getting a bit emotional towards the end. I really hate it with the dialogue at the very end, gets me everytime.

" Pita: I love you, Creasy. And you love me too, don't you?
Creasy: Yes, I do. With all my heart, Pita. Go. "

I really love the film as a hole, the Pita > Creasy relationship is brilliant and done ever so well.

Go out and get drunk you old man :)

I don't drink Gussy ;)

Had a tough day so feel like kicking back and just chilling, maybe have the odd drink but seeing new years in with family and the better half :)

Why aren't you already out of your face?

Inglourious ******** on DVD with the wife.

I'd seen it at the cinema; I enjoyed watching it again. My wife liked it, but found the fact that it didn't reconcile with genuine history somewhat jarring.

It occurred to me watching it the second time that Christoph Waltz speaks 4 languages in the film, 3 of them extensively, which is pretty amazing really.

He's fluent in German, French and English :)

Speaks Italian iirc as his last language in the film.

Need to grab some popcorn tomorrow so I can finally sit down to watch the Godfather, despite me having the DVD for 2 years I have yet to watch any of them. I am just hoping that it is not a disappointment.

Just got back in from watching Law Abiding Citizen.

Thought it was awesome. :D Though my girl friend was laughing a lot when people were getting blown up which was rather worrying.

Bridge to Terabithia. Rather enjoyed it, very sad bit in it though, caught me completely off-guard.

Also watched The Taking of Pelham 123. Not bad, Denzel Washington made it better than it otherwise would have been but overall it seemed like a movie without much of a point to it.
