What game did you play last?

Not managed to play anything for a couple of weeks, but was the other halfs birthday and got her a a copy of Burgle Bros 2 - The Casino Capers. We've played the first one in the past and enjoyed it (once we got the rules right...)

My Alley Cat clearance sale came through today. Deluxe (kickstarter?) version of Tinner's Trail and the Kickstarter edition of Tungaru.
More to learn... More on the shelf of shame... :D

Another play of Flamecraft. Still think it's great.

Also got a game of Century Spice Road in. Still a great card game that can be played though in ~30 minutes.

Just played Roll For The Galaxy - lovely weather to do so! Instructions make the game look ridiculously complicated, but it's actually quite straightforward, and the rounds roll through quite quickly. If you're looking for a game at about 45 mins, can't go too wrong with it.

Camel Up The Card Game
Similar to the board game but a little more tactical. Faster to play too.

Call to Adventure: Epic Origins
Adds co-op by fighting an adversary that we failed to beat this time. Still point based and a lovely backstory game too play to use with DnD.

Roll Player
Dice drafting character creation. Score points for getting the right stats, dice placement and alignment. One of my favourites.

Robinson Crusoe
Brutal survival game that I enjoy despite saying many bad words and resetting the scenario several times when we lose.

Our UKGE comp pack from Asmodee arrived so I now finally own Flamme Rouge and Sherlock Holmes (Thames). Got a few others but will likely give them away to schools as we don't stock them.

Yet another game of Terraforming Mars with all the promo's and the Prelude expansion.

Didn't get completely slaughtered, got several cards that gave used actions to add items and thus points at the end in the first couple of rounds. Gained about 30 points just through those.

since getting ark nova its been my go to game but it does require a good amount of time to play compared to others. For a quick game usually bring out some azul.

An absolute cracking game (albeit it can cause war) is Stramash - card and marble based game which can become utterly ruthless.

Nemisis, its mad and can go from the verge of winning to losing very quickly or visa versa

I painted my aliens, sorry, I mean intruders, last year! Excuse the filthy desk and poor photo!

Thank you

Up until then, I had literally never painted anything, so this was my first attempt at anything like that. Subsequently I have now painted all 250 minifigures that came with the War of the Ring board game and all expansions. It was an absolutely soul destroying experience by the end but they look amazing.

Lovely little game that one. We've owned Sushi Go and have upgraded to Sushi Go Party and gave the original away to a friend. Sushi Go Party goes up to 8 players and has many extra cards so you can change up the menu significantly.

Got to play Nanty Narking again last week. Was nowhere close to winning. Did manage to block someone from winning for 3 rounds though. He was getting quite irritated. :D Followed up with a quick game couple of games of Century Spice Road and then both sides of the lovely Draftosaurus. We didn't want anything too heavy as it was hot as all hell in the room and we were fried at that point.

Kickstarter arrivals in the last week - Moon and Terraforming Mars the Dice Game Not played either yet, but Moon looks like a lovely smaller box game from Sinister Fish, the guys who did Villagers and Streets. Terraforming Mars the Dice Game is a very fast playing version of Terraforming Mars.
