What have you done to your car today?

I managed to break a Honda, what do I win? :D

Basically the car died on me and wouldn't start, the pump was completely silent so after checking the fuses, relays and sensors. I went to the back and checked the pump to see if anything unplugged and checked the voltage, it was tricky being on my own with a injured leg. But managed to do it, also did a continuity test.

The fuel pump is kaput, ordered a new one. Should be with me on Friday, ehh... I thought Honda's were suppose to be bulletproof? :p

Haha, I'll replace it myself... I ain't got money to spend on mechanics. lol

It a Denso, Jap fuel pump.

Edit:

Before someone says anything about the mess on the tank, I cleaned it before removing the pump and after quick inspection put it back in. I checked how annoying it would be to get crap in there!

Fitted an aem boost gauge. A bit of an overkill for a diesel but I can always use it on another turbo car. Works well, wiring it was easy. Bringing the boost line in was a headache. No boost leaks and it also shows peak value.

OBD2 app such as torque said my car peaked at 18.3psi. This states otherwise.

Left it in my work carpark, came out, wouldn't start. Spent £80 on a new battery, turns out the problem is most likely the control module in the steering column. Official diagnosis tomorrow afternoon, but assuming it is what I think, I'm looking at about £2k or potentially more to fix it as everything's coded, so it can only be repaired by the main dealer. Not a great introduction to Audi ownership.

The Dodge Caliber with peeling paint and creaking suspension I bought off my gf's family for shed money continues to run perfectly, every cloud....
