Have been bothered by wind noise from passenger side door / window on Honda Insight Mk2 occasionally over the last few months. On a still day it's fine but with a reasonable headwind it seems to make a rasping noise at 65mph+.
Decided to have a close look today by comparing trim on both doors. I found a tiny little flap of rubber on the top rear edge of the window guide trim that should have been tucked outside the door metal but was pushed into the channel with the trim instead. Adjusted it. It remains to be seen whether it will sort the problem out. I will be very pleased if it does.
The guy from greenlight sent me to A-plan. I phoned the number, rang out for ages then someone picked up and hung up right away. Keith Michaels won't answer my calls either even when the guy told me to call him.
Sky quoted me but it was not competitive with my renewal with admiral. Upside is the mods are actually covered and they will let me do whatever.
Reluctant to call AF, I've called them the past 2 years and they gave me stupidly high quotes both times, I found their staff unhelpful and rude, and I read stories all the time about bad CS.
Well, I did call AF, they gave me the best price yet, still dear though. Fired off the form to CCI.
Oh yeah, and I opened up my donor diff, damn it STINKS in there, can't get rid of that pungent stench now. Don't think the oil was ever changed in it, sludge all up the back cover and the spider gears have heavy wear.
