What have you done to your car today?

Don't stress it dude just make your own mind up, different strokes for different folks. I can well imagine our Foxxy is quite the quiet gent in real life lol.

I had to check I had clicked on the right thread then. I thought this was a "what have you done to your car" thread and not a spec me thread?

Back to what the thread is supposed to be about. Over the past couple of day's I have carried out the car's 4 year service which included:-

Change the timing belt along with idler and tension wheels.
Change the auxillary belt.
Spark plugs, filters (air, oil, petrol and pollen).
While the belts were off I changed the water pump as well.
I also changed the RH engine mount as it was off anyway to change the belts.
Fresh oil and coolant.

I also replaced the rotted air-con condensor and main radiator which was damp and suspect.

Finished plumbing in the new turbo in my 9-3 last night, will be replacing the coolant this eve after flushing with de-ionised water, then taking it for a drive and hoping that nothing falls off it.

Replaced the failing jubilee clip on my intake pipe with a Mikalor clamp, turns out it's mm to big :( so I'm off to pirtek for a smaller one!

And here we see Fox being a pleasant chap as usual

Can't wait to meet him at a meet. I vision him being like a petulant child only riling up when the conversation has a different tune to what he normally sings. Meanwhile, he sits quite in the corner lol.

Meanwhile, you seem to have a bizarre obsession with getting offended on someone else's behalf for no reason whatsoever, whenever he posts his opinion!

At the last one he mostly stood about being half involved in conversations and only speaking when someone said something about a BMW. :p

He's also a lot younger than I imagined. I thought he was going to be a grumpy middle aged man.

Oh come off it, it was a light hearted comment based on what I saw of the infamous Polo at the meet and the continual Polo saga we've had over the last 9 months on here :p It's certainly been through the wars has that car :p

I'm sorry Fox, but I can't help but take every comment you make seriously, its hard to tell light hearted comments from bitchy ones... If it was meant to be light hearted, then I apologise, but it didn't read like it was a light hearted comment! :p

The Polo saga has been ongoing for longer than 9 months! And yes, it has been through the wars a bit... Currently on 139,200 miles, gearbox is almost knackered, still drive it like I stole it whenever I find a nice road... :D

At the car meet I revved it once or twice because someone jokingly said I should, and I dumped the clutch and got some wheel spin because someone asked if it could break traction, so I decided to find out. (yes, but not for long!) :p

If it didn't come across that way then please accept my apologies.

And buy a Civic not a Corolla :p

I'll just buy a Polo and be done with it. It is what everyone expects really... :p

Recently purchased another MK7 transit for my business, bartered the price somewhat as it only came with one key and needed a few issues sorting like the side door and rear shocks after taking a good look around it.

I've sorted the issues except for the key(s), that had to wait until today as I had to get the blade part of the keys cut, the blue remote bit pulls off the blade.

So, went ahead and erased the existing lost keys and programmed the additional new fob that I purchased along with the two cut key blades.

Think I may of encouraged the wheel spinning bit.....

Also Fox is a lovely chap.

Noticed that the rear three quarter panel has been resprayed :(

Obvious orange peel, thicker paint and a slightly dull look.
Suppose I could call the dealer (used car garage) but what can they do? Car's otherwise perfect. Not really noticeable but I know it's there. And Audi won't cover any eventual rust down there as it's clearly been resprayed.

On a more positive note- summer wheels and tyres. Wheels are mint and only cost £450.

I can live with the arch gap.
