What have you done to your car today?

I didn't technically do it, and it wasn't today, but attended a rolling road day on Saturday. Happy with the result for now. These are 180 standard.

Amazon... wow.
Just found bilstien b8 sprint shocks for £60 EACH!
Only front tho... but still that's a £300 worth for £120... bargain!
Just need to find some rears now

Front mount intercooler with 2.5" pipe work, over sized turbo intake pipe, large air filter, 3" decat pipe, 2.5" exhaust system, 4 bar fuel pressure regulator, N112 & N249 deletes, DIY modded stage 2 remap with launch control and no lift shift. - Think that's it

The K04 seems just as reliable as any turbo as far as I'm aware. I could go K04 fairly cheaply if I go second hand, but pricing up hybrid to start with. At least the oil lines, exhaust etc will all fit as standard.

Hybrids a good "next step" as you'll get more usable power and much more stable torque plus it won't start to exceed the capability of the other parts you fitted, so no expensive replacements!

New timing chain, tensioner and Energy engine mount poly inserts today. Makes it feel a bit more racecar with the vibration but should combat wheel hop and help the gear changes as the engine did move about a lot before

Poly engine mounts are great, I quite liked the vibration to be honest. Apart from when the idle drooped occasionally and made the interior rattle. :p

They weren't planned but Matt @ Ti did a check over on the car and noticed the front mount was split. Suggested this as a solution. When I fired it up it felt really good to be fair. Just more buzzy and solid - like the exhaust got louder and was resonating through the car. Only done a few miles yet but will use it more tomorrow and see what it's like, as need to get some miles on the chain before I dare open it up haha.

It's having new front bushes, ball joints, drop links, ARB D-bushes, alignment in a couple of weeks also... but now I'm in two minds wether to put some Tein S Tech springs on at the same time. I am sort of reluctant to put all the adjustable camber stuff on as I don't push on all that hard on corners to be honest and it'd close the arch gap up which may mean a change in wheel colour or wheels completely won't look too out of place then.

I was going to sell it... but everytime I do something new which makes a good difference I feel I should carry on and get it how I want it. I've had it for just over 2 months and spent about 1400 quid on it so perhaps it's time I got my monies worth, for once :D

Doing it properly it'd be shocks, top mounts and adjustable camber stuff along with all the bits already earmarked to go on. Then fast road set up alignment. I have other stuff planned too - not for power but more tidying the car up as maintenance wise, with the bushes and brake fluid changed, it's 100% done.

This 2k car soon approaches not far off 6k then. At that point it's not cost effective based on it's intentions as a cheap runaround :) Perhaps I should not bother lowering as it'd only be for looks, the standard suspension ride comfort is spot on for me on the road. I've been here before with my old EP3... spent loads on it, loved it for a week and thought it looked great and then decided overall it was better left alone :D

Just new stock shocks, £150 lowering springs (H&R or Eibach etc) and new stock top mounts, then an alignment, wouldn't cost the earth. :) Don't really need all the bells and whistles to improve it greatly.
