What have you done to your car today?

Slightly random but the Lexus warranty looks particularly good value for money if bought outside the approved network. £1k for a GS sized car covering two years, up to ten years old and c140k

Assume yours was approved used?

It wasn't approved used, I bought it private. The warranty for an LS is £1495 per year. Good value for money really considering what it's had done. Unfortunately the LS is the only Lexus where the buy one get one year free, doesn't apply :(

Changed the lower front bumper.

Not my month this month!

Just bumped into the back of someone. Was in slow moving traffic, around 1/2Mph speed. He braked suddenly and my foot slipped off the clutch as I was trying to get comfy to loosen my sack as I'm wearing jeans.

Obviously I'm too close so I make bumper to bumper contact. I've done no damage to my car what so ever, no scratches or paintwork transfers. The other driver got out saying he's hurt his back and I've cracked his bumper (which he pointed to straight away, without even looking around it) and there was no other signs of damage/dints etc...

Details exchanged and photos taken!

So yeah, he acted as if it was a 30Mph crash and the end of the world and will be claiming.

Dashcam?

Hoping the photos I have of my car and theirs shows no damage or paint work to even consider speeds higher than stated.

Then again, insurances...

so a month or so ago I scraped the alloy as per the usual with me ;) in a very tight car park..

today I took it off and tried to touch it up as much as I can as it was bothering me, think it came out okay. Far from perfect but on the car is not really visible.

before

and back on the car - near valve..
