the likly hood is it'll be some night animal badger,hedge hog or fox if it turns out to be one of these it'll be abit of a anticlimax to live up to the climax needs to be a bear ,large cat,brain eating alien,dogging or a genetic mutation sadly i cant see these things turning up.

Ignored this thread for a while but just caught up the last few pages wow I'm totally hooked now and must know what it is.

If this was me I would be taking a lot more pictures to show you guys the area and the tree line etc and deffo be recording my outings.

He hasn't replyed since the 5th I say he's prolly been mauled by whatever it is and the only way we're gonna find out what it is is to go there and hunt it ourselves!

on a serious note ive now got a group of " hunting " mates reading this thread and were all up for driving up there and waxing this thing... between the six of us thell be enough lead flying to topple godzilla, so an ashmatic squirrel has no chance!!!

Now this sounds like a plan. Forget the game keeper, import the hunters to hunt this thing down and remove it from existence, once and for all.

Anyone remember "Chimera" an ITV drama from the 90's about a genetic experiment that escaped form a research lab, went on a killing spree and lived in the woods. It scared the **** out of me watching it as a kid.
