What is it that makes people hate Apple so much?

One point I did forget to mention was that I do actually like Apple's product line thoughts. When I went to look at replacing my 3G I looked at Android and with a new faster better one coming out every week and HTC having 1,401 models with slight differences I just lost interest.

Ie. I wanted to use MS office on a Mac a while back, i want to throw the ****ing thing out of the window after 10mins. On the PC it's as smooth as silk and someone thinks it runs better on OSX? Lol....just lol

I do IT support for a largish company (1300 users) all have either MS Office 2007 or 2010, barely any problems with them in the last 12 months, any arose was server related, but MS Office is stable as a rock

He said that Windows software, i.e. Office runs better on Windows. In much the same way Apple software runs better on OSX, i.e. iTunes. Duh.

I don't hate Apple at all, I buy a PC because I like to play games and specific programs

I never bought an iPod because it went against everything an MP3 player should be, drag & drop USB storage (without the need for extra applications or tying you to one machine)

They make a good product and they sell it well, very well

But who said MP3 players should be drag and drop?

Drag and drop is just an method of putting music into a player. You or people don't like the way or the interface of the player with the computer, that's it. There is no right or wrong way.

Drag and drop is just whay we are used to with hard drives with files. What you are saying is that you are used to that way, and doesn't like change. It is typical human behaviour more than anything else.

Indeed, infact I prefer the way iTunes does it and 'I'm a PC' :D

Unfortunately this thread just proves that some people will always be blinded by their own opinions and be completely closed to accepting that different people can have a different point of view.

anyone can afford a Mac/iPod whatever.....some just choose to buy something with better value for money (in their opinion of course). I'm with most people I believe in thinking that they are ordinary hardware, nice design, price premium!

Have to agree that Office 2011 on Mac runs like ****.

I use my bootcamp W7 x64 install via VMWare Fusion to run Office 2010 now.

But it's expected that Windows apps work best on windows and Apple apps on OS X.

I do also find that the store opening clapping and stuff cringeworthy.

As for whoever said they have active backgrounds: All I can say is this: Battery life.

Of course they can...if they want to! Second or 3rd hand or whatever, they're not that expensive, just more expensive than some other makes. It's called choice...

Meh, whatever. I'm not getting into this again.

Suffice to say that I can afford the monthly payments on a Ferrari 458 Italia, but I don't have one... I wonder why. :p
