It runs at >350fps with 8x Supersampling AA/16xAF at 1280*1024![]()
I remember being blown away by the graphics in the beginning but now they are just ugly and very little detail, when I look at such a game it makes me think how fast development in the computer industry and videocards has been.
What is your oldest game you still play?

Seriously though, remakes and new versions shouldn't count you cheats, only originals or on emulated hardware! I play Nethack too, but it's version 3.4.3 for Windows for crying out loud! And I have a Pacman clone on my mobile but it's not the real thing even though it looks identical!
Oldest stuff I'm likely to play these days is the occassional bout of Golden Axe on Mame (1989), or a complete marathon replay through one of the classic Lucasarts or Sierra adventure games of yore (currently 1/3 of the way through LSL2 from 1988).
arty said:I think Nethack had similar roots to Angband (Hack / Moria I believe?), but Angband appeared slightly earlier, so it doesn't really count as a clone. Each to their own, but I prefer the best *band clones to Nethack, which I've tried many times but never got into

But you are correct it's not really a clone: both are linear descendants of Eye of Larn via differnet routes.
