You’ll be fine mounting them in plasterboard with the appropriate fixing. Some plasterboard fixings are good for up to 20kg.

I think my go to Fischer duopower plugs are good for 10kg on plasterboard each and they are just a multipurpose plug.

The chances of hitting a stud where you actually want to put a fixing is near zero.

Brilliant I actually have some of those DuoPower plugs laying around so will use those for the bigger mirrors.

I've also got one more job to do which I'm more worried by, I have to put up some glass shelves.

I'll be using these sleeves. The glass shelves, they're only like 40cm x 30cm but still got some heft to them. I can't remember what thickness plasterboard they used for this bit but might be 12.5mm so it should be OK

Yeh as long as you don’t plan on making the shelves into book shelves, standard DuoPower plugs should be fine, particularly when there are multiples of per side.

Yours is alright but some of the monster cable runs externally are pretty hideous.

I guess a necessary evil and unless you have a new build or are lucky isn't the first thought for your incoming supply!

It was a Dulux washable tough Matt "indigo shade". It was so thick, I watered it down and still only 1 coat needed. I normally always go valspar premium so I was super impressed by this.
