What PC games are you playing?

Started Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus last night, didn't give it long! It started 10-15 minutes of pointless video & cutscenes, them I'm in a submarine, in a wheelchair somehow gliding through submarine hatches. Does it get better?!
Yes, much, much, much better.
Stick with it.

Started and finished Mafia definitive edition today, and wow!
Superb graphics, gameplay and storyline.
There wasn't much I could fault it for, 9.5/10
Really is fantastic isn't it? I started playing yesterday, this is how you do remakes! but started AND finished? I thought the story was about 14 hours lol.

It is utterly superb, and yes, its exactly how to do a remake.
I checked on Steam and finished it 9.5 hours..

I'll be playing it again at a more leisurely pace very soon.

It is a fantastic game as its very close to the original, however I find faults because of the things that they removed from original mafia.

It's been a whole but off the top of my head, monorail is gone, that mechanic you go visit gone? A few missions are simplified. The barn one in particular is just "go straight to this marker" instead of, find Sam within the area, leaving you to explore and get ambushed.

You could also kill morello (was that his name?) in different ways in the original, even missing the entire airport level.

To be clear, these are minor issues in the grand scheme of things. It's still a great game. I'd like them to make mafia 4 to follow on from this game, or even better, be a prequel to the story of the 2 dons.

Started FF7R, already beat it on PS5 but I loved the game, glad I bought it again cause man does it look glorious in 21:9

Chained Echoes and Vampire Survivors. For some reason I’m finding more to love and keep my attention in the smaller and simple indie style games.

Assetto Corsa Competizione at the moment. It's hooked me right in and I'm completing the career mode before jumping online

Really good game. Just make sure you spend the time to get the tire pressures correct when in single player with multiple temperatures as this will help a lot when heading online
Also recommend signing up to more dedicated online races as the public lobbies can be terrible - https://lowfuelmotorsport.com/
And a mention for https://thecrewchief.org/forumdisplay.php?28-Download-and-Links . Wouldnt personally race without it.

Nice one, thank you. I'm using the g29 wheel and the magnetic shifter mod is in the post which I will need to fit immediately as shifts can miss sometimes due to it not fully returning

Stayed up until 3am playing through "A Way Out" with a friend last night. Brilliant co-op game, not the most challenging but felt like we were playing through a movie.

I've found myself playing little but F1 Manager '22 and Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 over Christmas this year, with a little MS Flight Sim in there.
A little jealous of those with a Steam Deck tbh, sounds like its encouraging people to invest time playing some of their Steam Library they might not pick up and play (especially older stuff)

Is the race mission still in? First time I played it took me days to get through it, kept making stupid mistakes and crashing, almost gave up on it. On my last (3rd) playthrough I got it done on first go, was very proud of myself. :D
