What PC games are you playing?

Just bought and have been playing civilization IV complete edition for approximately £3 from a CD key website. Runs great on my laptop. Absolutely crazy how cheap you can grab some of these older games for from these key websites. Tempting me to get back into pc gaming..

Still going through Avatar and its not a bad game. Its a Farcry spoof for sure but still somewhat engrossing.

The forest environment is one you can get lost in.

I tried deponia but the magnet demolition poster bugged out from simply saving/loading locking progression. Turns out it is a well known issue from release, only way to fix is to restart the game from the beginning. Might go back to it, not sure.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth - my favourite game in the series is Like a Dragon: Ishin however, maybe it's the historic setting that set it apart and made it more enjoyable for me, but I also preferred the storyline.

So much extra fodder in Infinite Wealth I'm finding it tedious about 6 hours in always getting interrupted with side mission content that interrupts the main storyline.

Replaying Dark Souls 3 with item randomiser, played it through several times before but the randomiser is making me learn even more about the game areas

Started a proper Cyberpunk 2077 play through. I wish I would've persisted with this a few months ago because one you get into it, it's actually a brilliant game. 10 hours into it so it's bit too soon for me to workout what kind of build I want to specialise in yet but just having fun exploring the city and earning money taking down the green skulls on the map.

What build have you gone for?

I’ve found my current Sandevistan Timeslow Steath Assassin build to require way, way more levelling up before it became anywhere near effective as Quickhacks + Smartweapons did.

I've not specialised in anything yet. From what I've played so far I really enjoy using the katana (more so than the mantis blades I have at this point) along with SMG/Pistols and quick hacks.

The fact your second line reads like a foreign language to me tells me I have a way to go yet! I'm only level 13 I think.

Started playing "The Last of Us: Part I" but it's a bit of a nightmare on my potato. I need to try it out with my DualSense controller. Does anyone here regularly use a DualSense instead of an Xbox controller? Does Steam take care of everything (apart from changing Xbox glyphs)?

Timberborn, Picked it up on Steam sale, Great little colony sim, looking forward to see what they do with it coming up to full release.

Humans are long gone. In a world struck by droughts and toxic waste, will your lumberpunk beavers do any better? A city-building game featuring ingenious animals, vertical architecture, water physics, and terraforming. Contains high amounts of wood.

Still quietly working my way through Ghost Recon Wildlands. I think I have about three more areas to liberate, the big bad missions and then I'm done. This will go into my top 10 games of all time. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'd love to see a full blown multi-player version of the game though - 150+ players.

FWIW, I use DS4WIN for anything that doesn't have support for my PS4 controllers, it supports PS4/5 controllers :) so literally anything with xbox 360 onwards support, will 'just work'.

I prefer a PS controller as I have massive hands and having a stupid battery pack adding to the cramps of long gaming sessions, is a big NOPE in my book, the button layout is pretty much muscle memory for me where I had a xbox/360 when I had my PS2/cube/PS3/360, so it's never bothered me on games that don't allow the on screen buttons to be displayed in PS format, however steam pretty much has that dialed now :)

But yeah look into DS4WIN if there's anything older/not on steam, that you want to use it with, for example GOG releases etc etc...
