What PC games are you playing?

Back playing Dying light 2 after finishing Shadow of the Erdtree.

I've just been doing the main quests and enjoying it much more. Also got to a second zone which is far more varied. Still a shame they have spoilit the nights with Volatiles every 5 metres. I feel like I have to just hammer the main quests which are mainly daytime and eventually I will out level them and can fight them.

It doesn't take long at all, I'd prefer to do that than waste money on a full price game that I am bored with after 2 hours. Just not logical. Horses for courses and all that.

It's not logical to pay subscriptions to play something you could have bought for less overall, rent versus buy is very rarely a better option in life.
I did like game pass for just trying random new games but the fact it was more difficult to mod them etc just made it a completely worse experience overall and I was glad to see the back of it.
If I wanted to pay subscriptions I'd get a console.

How is it compared to 1 ? Been on my wishlist for ages.

I thought 2 was a step backwards from 1 tbh. Still reasonably good fun, but it didn't recpature the zombie slaying mayhem of the first, and there was never a moment that compared to the first nightime outing of the first game.

On another subject, I've been playing Steelrising for a few days now. I'm a sucker for a Soulslike, so I'm quite enjoying it. Nowhere near as polished as the From games or Lies of P, but quite a nice clockwork/steampunk type vibe.

Why not gamepass it instead of buying it?
As some replies noted below, I'm not that fussed about having an ongoing subscription to play games.

Anyhow fired it (FH4) up again yesterday evening and managed to get some enjoyment out of it so not a total loss.

Also got WRC 24 downloading to try. Well actually when I came off the PC yesterday evening the D/L was 90% complete. Fired it up just now and it's started over from scratch. Grrr.

Just completed Days gone. Really enjoyed the game, should have played it sooner. It sort of felt like that great Mad Max game, except zombies and a Harley. Currently playing Black Ops 6 campaign, then Im'hop to Alan Wake 2 to complete the Lake house DLC, next up either Ghost of Tsushima or Horizon ZD Forbidden West. Or if I can get Silent Hill 2 cheaper or God of War Ragnarök that'll be what I play next.

Started Robocop Rogue City, though I enjoyed part of it, I ended up bouncing off it after a few hours. I've had Yakuza 0 installed for a while (only really to see if it worked in Linux) and have currently sunk 7 hours into it over 2 nights!

Not really much idea what i'm doing, but enjoying it anyhow as it's by turns serious and gloriously mad.
