What the hell is this? (Small animal)

Well it was alive this morning and sleeping in the shelter I gave it, I had work early, my mum looked in on it at about 11am and it was dead

I dont think it was well at all, it never moved quick like you would expect from a small mouse like creature.

Funeral service will be held at 4pm, RIP little vole

Used to chase them around my old house for ages after one of the cats would bring them in. On very rare occasions we would find what looked to be a stomach or intestine (or similar internal organ) and a tail on the floor where the cat decided to finally stop playing with it and eat it!

Ah but it was still breathing in the morning, I checked it before I went to work and it was sleepign then. Oddly it died stretched out having woke up and moved to a different position.
