What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

Stop the presses ! Subnautica, I've played it a lot in the last day or so, I think it's fantastic.

To the top, a recent purchase and I'm just getting the swing of it, it's really fun.

Sprint Vector, it is so much fun and such a good work out too, as with to the top it's a very recent purchase but looks to have lots to offer if I ever get up to scratch.

The Mage's Tale. Only played about 30 minutes so far, but wow it looks and sounds great, I've just started having some proper battles and they are great fun, but I've come to a bit I'm actually scared to do so I'm kinda stuck LOL.

I recently got a third sensor and to the top is so much better with it, you just turn around and it works. The other two I've only played with a 3rd sensor and the interaction is flawless no matter which way I'm facing, so far anyway.

I want to have a crack at gorn with the 3 sensor set up as I think that'll benefit from the ability the physically turn and face foe's rather than fast spinning on the joystick.

All in all great fun and anyone one the fence I'd say jump in if you can, the water's lovely.

the last couple of nights, ive been playing Metatable Poker. Not many people play it but when you have 4+ players at a table its so much fun. not sure if this is just on the oculus store though

The Ready Player One club experience they've done is outstanding.
Agreed. I installed it just to look at that. For anyone else who's going to take a gander at it, make sure you go in from the beginning (you'll see a countdown to when it starts over, with the whole experience lasting about 25 minutes). There are several scene changes with some of the different songs that you might miss if you jump in part way through.

Is this an official experience or just something they have made in the style of? Do you have a link to it?

They've created the experience themselves, but they have an official license to do it (I read that they'd negotiated to keep the experience open for about a year iirc).

It's only officially available in the US. However, I'd take a look over at the SteamDB page for it, especially the green "Free" button up at the top (hint, hint).

Ill jump on the back of Rogi's post and expand a bit on the WaveVR.

The actual experience was a live performance from a south by southwest party, in an environment created to tie with ready player one. From my understanding the whole thing didn't go to well, the timing was off and as per usual their networking blew a sparky.

They've created a number of these clubbing environments over the last year, and set them up as live events fronted by some of the circuit dj's in the American scene. Recently they've started to give you the option to go back and view the sets, as you can imagine though it's lonely experience after the event. The Wave really shines when you turn up and there's a crowd, people dancing, glow sticks, letting off poppers, in a fantastic light show that's unequalled in VR imho.

There's downsides to all of this, there stateside only and they always run these in pacific time. they've been promising international for nearly a year:/ Also there instanced, and from the last I heard it's only 32 people in a club at a time. It would be absolutely mind blowing to get the 300 plus that regularly turn up to the live shows in the same space, which isn't going to happen anytime soon as they can't even hold down the numbers they get without it crashing frequently.

That said you should check out the ready player one club, they went beyond with the environment, and there's great 80's music.

Not a VR game, but I have just played DayZ for the 1st time in 2 years (ran beautifully and looked amazing, no bugs!!!) was having a great time but I wanted to play it in VR, obviously I couldn’t, so I loaded it up in Bigscreen and wrapped the screen around me and made it huge, went into 1st person and it was pretty dam awesome.

When DayZ hits beta this year and opens up to mod support, I hope to god someone mods in VR for DayZ, it would be incredible with full motion control.

I used to dream of a Battlefield VR with VR gun reload mechanics, now I dream of DayZ VR...

Hi all, I have a hope it will be ok, that I will say here that I just released a game for the VR on the Android phones.
The name of the game is "Space Corridor" (Limits Free). It would be great when someone would like to try it :)
The game uses UE4 and you would need any controller to play it.

Brass tactics is just awesome in every way. Always liked RTS to a point, but generally this is from a skirmish with every odd stacked in my favour because I'm useless at micro managing everything at once. Brass tactics changes all of that, the ability to see everything you have and what's coming at you, and instantly flick to where you need to be is a total game changer for me, and id imagine every other clunk when it comes to RTS.

Even though it's a high budget game and there's high production values, the core game and fluidity is where it shines. Made it to the 3rd table, those buggering stealth units ruined my day. It's a bargain at the sale price, I think it's going to be my first oculus store purchase, it's that worth it.

If you've never got on with RTS, try it!

It’s my favourite VR game and a cracking RTS game. C&C and Age of Empires are amongs my all time fav games and Brass Tactics seems to be joining that list. I never would have thought VR would work so well for an RTS game.
