What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

Look at a game called Seeking Dawn if you crave the high end experience. Been liking it a lot recently after discovering more of the mechanics, and getting deeper in to it.

The way they've done the VR in fps is some of the best yet. They have a quick menu that springs up at the level of your head, you physically grab stuff on the fly, swapping out guns, munitions, health regens... This coupled with an immersive arm swinging mechanic while running just feels awesome. If you've seen ready player one and how they quick fire stuff on the fly, think that.

The backpack inventory stuff is still icon pointer driven, and the pickups is done by button press, which are design decisions that are credible. It's expensive, but it's that ground up fps to justify the cost.

I hadn't heard of this game before. Thanks for the heads up.

still Elite mostly in VR but right now it is just too blooming hot. 30 degrees in my man cave. Am hovering over getting a portable aircon unit but they have gone up in price for some reason... i cant think why!!!

Thrill of the Fight. Bought this ages ago in the early stages of it's development and I didn't think it was that good.

Tried it again last week and it has improved so much!! It's the nearest thing to real boxing that I have tried in VR. Not as flashy as some of the other boxing games, but, much more technical. The Developer is actively working on the game and keeps the updates coming. To be honest I am amazed at how good of a game it has become.

It's one hell of a workout too.

Both those are free updates to the base game. Payday practically gave away the game for free to VR users by announcing VR support at the time they were giving it away.On principal i felt obliged to pay, on sale at £16 for everything. Payday is one of the most content rich VR games there is.

From the list Catch & Release has shown itself to be everything i wanted out of a fishing game. The rod and reel mechanic works, and it's got that challenge/luck element to give you impetuous to continue on.

i'm playing turing tumble. it's a puzzle game that's an introduction to mechanical computing. the dev made a VR version of this thing https://www.turingtumble.com/ for his personal use because he couldn't wait for the kickstarter to finish, and he's now released it on steam.

i've had 10 hours play this weekend - a good deal for £5.

That really does look interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Star Trek Bridge Crew. Got the dlc yesterday, went online, enjoyed seeing both Enterprise ships docked at base, then went online... only to play on the Aegis as the other crew did not yet have the dlc. No matter, had a blast playing anyway, had forgotten how great the game is.

i haven't been back on the star trek bridge since the first week.

i should give it another go. I remember being put off by having to keep my head in a fixed position, if you move to the side or do anything the game used to cut the visuals.

Finished Hellblade the other day. Very good indeed. It took a few hours to get into it, but by the end I was quite impressed. Need to get around to Pixel Ripped next.

I just picked this up but I was waiting for the weather to be more VR friendly before I started. Looking forward to getting in to it and and back in to VR again in general!
