I picked up the GS Spring Drive 55th anniversary the other day after going to have a look. It's beautiful in person.

Needed a microfibre cloth for the sun shot, I can tell you the case is scratchfree it's just the light hitting dust etc. The dial is gorgeous and the spring drive movement is so damn smooth, you need to see it in person to believe it!

Congratulations, such a beauty :)

That is crazy. Two cracking watches there.

I'd choose either of those over any cheap and tacky smart watch :)

I know I would too but this year I've gone back in to fitness to loose some weight put on during COVID lockdowns and joined the gym in January so need a smart watch to measure my steps, active time, calories burnt etc etc

A galaxy watch 4 has been on the wrist most of the year

Will let you off as it's for good cause :p

I'd be dumping the smart watch for the omega as soon as I left the gym though :D

The new Seiko Save The Ocean Baby Tuna is quite cool, it's 43.2mm but being not very thick and only 44mm lug to lug means it wears small - I am tempted...

Found one on eBay by a uk watch seller, brand new, boxed tagged etc. Put an offer in for £419, they accepted

This should wear smaller than my old Marloe Morar, that was 40.1mm but had nearly 48mm lugs. Should hopefully be here tomorrow!

And it arrived... The best way to describe it is "fit for purpose" - It looks like it belongs in the ocean, it feels like it too Quality appears to be fantastic and the textured Penguin dial is very *edit* nice. I forgot to add nice lol.

Never thought I'd be buying a 43.2mm watch but with <44mm lug to lug height and the way the lugs are attached to the case, it sits not much different to my 36/37mm Fliegers

Nice. Save The Ocean collection always look superb.

I've had a SRPD23K1 sitting in basket for way too long.

Samurai hands on that one, nice!

This isn't the type of diver I'd normally even look at as they're typically massive, but the dial and comments online about how wearable it is convinced me :o

Not really thread worthy I guess but I enjoy my cheap casios, timex etc watches. Binned off all my smartwatches a while ago and just started wearing basic casios. Sadly my wrists are way too small to pull of a fat g-shock. I love their tatty design.

These are the ones I switch between:

Timex is probably the most worn as I daily-wore it for a few months. Including working on cars etc.

I do have a seiko automatic and a few others but rarely wear them.
