I take that to mean that the nuts are inserted into the bezel, then the screws go into them and are tightened from the back. So the nuts in the front bezel don't actually rotate. In any case, given the price point that AP are at, I'm not sure it's a valid excuse :).

No it's definitely not, but I've never seen a Royal Oak with misaligned bezel nuts so it can't be very common. I've read a coupe of threads where people have sent them back to AP to get them realigned, but they were reasonably old models from the 90's.

What sort of quality are Meister watches?

http://www.mstrwatches.com/

I am considering dropping $320 on a limited edition of 500 version of the Meister Aviator.

This is the product page for the regular $265 Aviator http://www.mstrwatches.com/Black-Aviator-Watch-with-PID11483-AV101NB.aspx

I'm not looking for the epitome of quality, I want it to feel weighty and solid, and never (within reason) break.

Thanks. :)
Seems alright for the price, PVD case though so any scuffs/chips will show the bare metal underneath so watch out. Seiko quartz movement so it will be fairly bullet proof and highly accurate until the battery dies.

Pilots like that are large though, keep that in mind so easier to snag on doors/tables/rough edges.

Limited edition... they probably don't sell that quantity of their normal watches. Just get a Seiko, Citizen or a Casio Edifice if you don't have money for anything particularly special. Even something like this http://goo.gl/fxaeTW would be decent if you're on a budget. mrk didn't like his but he's special :p

Loads all over, all these faux leather ones with suede interiors. they seem to be of similar qualities. Fossil do some genuine leather ones which I've checked out in store where I work and they're nice but they're +£70~ for something that holds 6+ watches.

I'd just get an eBay one for £20 odd or trip down to John Lewis if you want stacking ones for similar money I suppose.

It is a Bethesda licenced Vault-Tec branded Fallout watch. I am somewhat of a Fallout 3 fan. :p

I don't need it, I want it. Which is why I asked about that model specifically. :)

Otherwise I am fine with my cheap Pulsar up until a point in time where it would be comfortable for me to get the Tissot Seastar I've always wanted. :)

Any recommendations on watch boxes? I have cheap six slot box but I'm already three watches over the limit with a possible tenth on its way.

What's your budget?

That's really cool, I kind of want one. $265 seems like a reasonable price; buy it :)

Think I may have a problem, less than three weeks since I picked up my new Oris diver (which I've still not had a chance to grab pictures of and post) I've gone and added another to the collection, an Oris Chronoris:-

Not my pic, taken from web review

However this will be placed to one side as it will be an xmas gift from the missus.

I bought one of them, will probably receive it by the time I'm on my death bed, awful company.....

I was going to get one actually but the changes from concept to production ruined it for me. It changed from being a James Bond watch to James Bland.
http://blog.kairoswatches.com/concept-vs-production/

It looks more like a sports watch now than an elegant mechanical hybrid timepeice. There was an issue with waterproofing and screen limitations hence why they chnged it which is a shame.

However, I did read the comments in the blog people demanding refunds due to the change, why are they awful? Are they not refunding people or something?
