I phoned them up in the end, they weren't sure as they don't do many 'make bigger' but are happy too for £10.

Which more or less matches my 20yr old Seiko SQ50 which I'm replacing

or something else

How big are your wrists? Most bracelets come with loads of extra links. I don't have thin wrists and can wear 42-44mm watches fine but I'm on the first hole on the strap for my CW C7 Rapide, I'm sure you'd be okay.

Some reviewers on the rainforest site of some of the G-Shocks I was looking at mentioned that they had problems keeping watches charged or lasting long enough which puts me off them a little. I've no experience with solar powered watches so am a little put off them by the negative reviews. Maybe I'm just worried about nothing :)

How about a G-9300-1ER? It's about £160 and has all the features I want. Interested in seeing a few more options though, but it's a tedious process of opening every watch on the Casio site to check the feature list.

You are worrying about nothing, all my G's are solar powered and wouldn't buy ones without. They should keep good charge for a very long time, the only thing that really drains the battery is if your have the AL (auto illuminator) on, as that has a habit of turning on a lot when you wear it to sleep.

The G-9300 you mentioned is also solar powered. The best G for around £250 is the Casio Rangeman GW-9400.

I have the Christopher Ward Makaira and would recommend them for overall build quality, nice watches for the money.

Was gifted this for my birthday, I choose it from the Amazon Black Friday sales :). I already have its smaller brother. I really like it, it wears very large, is way larger than I was expecting.

That Orange Monster would lopok sweet on an Orange Nato

Watch out for those centre polished sections on the Longines bracelet, when they get scratched it's more obvious than on an all polished link as it stands out against the brushed part of the link! one of the reasons why I brushed all the polished sections to match the rest of the bracelet on mine :)

I've misplaced my Tissot Heritage Visodate. Don't recall seeing it since a VERY drunken night out on Friday, and it's not underneath the sofa cushions. Fridge is integrated, so it can't be behind there :/ Hoping it fell off the mantelpiece and is underneath an item of furniture...
