When the Gpu's prices will go down ?

Upgraded my Ryzen 5700X to a 5800X3D last week.. seems like i wont need a GPU upgrade sooner than i thought as it gave my 3060Ti a little uplift too as games are running smoother than ever now so i dont need a beefier card to avoid stutters etc :)

I dont know why i didnt do this last year lol :p

One explanation is there is a typo in your username, maybe it was meant to be NoBrainz :p:D

On a serious note though, I am surprised there is such a decent uplift. Good to know as a family member is looking to upgrade their CPU soon and they already have an AM4 mobo. Just waiting for it to drop to £250. Not far of, seen it for £280 already.

I do get tempted to get one myself, but spending money to lose 4 cores and end up on lower clock speeds does not compute. Rather just wait and when the time comes just upgrade the whole thing in a few years.

I've been called that before haha

I play DayZ a lot and that game is still a buggy mess at times but it seems i can jack up settings now without stuttering etc running around the cities is way smoother than before, i just couldnt do that with the 5700X.. i'm loving this X3D :) I used Kombo Strike 3 in the MSI BIOS and am getting 4450Mhz all core clocks, which is normal according to my Google searches.. also with much lower temps too, best purchase i ever made!

In some games the performance uplift is huge:

It was available for under £300 after cashback this week so probably yes.
From my understanding Asus don't make good AMD cards, there is

I'll take it any of these models should be ok, its going into sffc.

That's been true historically, but there's nothing wrong with the 6700 XT Dual from what I've seen. When you could get one for £285 with cashback a week or two ago it was a no-brainer IMO, but retailers have jacked the price up a bit on that model now to ensure they get their cut. I'd take the Pulse over the Fighter if you want to get one of those two.

Ah ok didn't know that about Asus, good to know though. Yeah think will go with Pulse as Sapphire make good GPUs.

The Pulse series is usually solid,but AFAIK Asus isn't too bad but Sapphire and Powercolor are the two main AMD AIBs partners.

@Troezar another RTX4070TI has dipped under £700.
So they should, way over priced for what they are. If they had been reasonably priced I may even have bought one. Thankfully I can sit it out for a while now, 1440p is so easy to drive with this 6950XT it's going to last hopefully until things get interesting again.
