Weird, as everything you have said is crap, including that females believe more in this stuff. Everything about myself I stated is a fact. I don't need your justification. I just see you as extremely closed minded person to the point that you're degree in science makes you better than everyone and life is all figured out for you including the unknown.
There is more to reality than what is vetted as safe for people like you to view. I guess that's why it's kept from us as a whole and how.

Not even China has the ability to absolutely control information flow, although they do try.

The military doesn't have technology that's 200 years ahead of civilian tech either. They aren't having lunch with the Protagians on Crevellian V, discussing the merits of cold fusion vs plasma induction in Galaxy Class starships.

The non-military scientific community would have no interest in keeping knowledge of alien life secret. They can't wait to tell us all about the possibility of bacteria, and are visibly disappointed if they don't find evidence for water on some moon or other.

In short, there's tons of people looking for alien life and no one has found any yet. That's the reality.

e: The 2nd point is "who is the military?" The answer is people. Human beings. Fallable human beings.

They haven't replaced humans with sentient robots yet because the A.N.D.R.O.I.D project is 5 years behind schedule. Until then, whistle-blowers, hackers and various other cook-ups mean that even the military's chances of keeping alien life a secret are ridiculously low.
