How so - how many people do you think are really on a "Which ever one is released first" line? I can't see the physical date making any difference now.

I agree, but it's the final major piece of information everyone is waiting for so it makes sense to wait.
I think it'll be a lot closer as well. PS4 will still have a fair lead, but it'll be 2:1 or 3:1 I think.

My ps4 pre-order was confirmed last week. Loved my ps3 though ironically it gets most use as a blu-ray player and streamer at the moment. I have an xbox360 that doesn't get used much. Might get its replacement next year if the price drops considerably. Life's busy though and I have less time for gaming than I used to. No longer a singleton and the woman demands attention!

i really don't even think the difference will be that much, especially by the time christmas has come and gone. More like 1.5:1 in favour of the PS4
Do you mean worldwide or just this poll? Because if you meant world wide sales the last numbers that came out from various sources in various different retailers were looking at 2:1 in the US and 4:1 in Europe as a whole (UK will be less than that as Xbox has always done better here than the rest of europe)
That combined with the fact the XB1 is only releasing in 13 countries vs 30+ for PS4 and the price difference makes me think that there will be a significant difference in the initial sales. It will probably get bigger when PS4 is released in Japan as well, Xbox's just don't sell there at all.

I meant really in the countries where they're both being released. And I really don't trust all those 'sources say this' stories as they usually turn out completely false. But obviously in countries like Japan theres basically only 2 consoles, the Xbox doesn't exist

To be fair, considering the Wii outsold both the Xbox 360 and PS3, despite being technically inferior, I can understand where he's coming from. The WiiU doesn't seem to be anywhere near as well supported by 3rd party devs as the Wii did though, so that won't help them.

It's just the cheek of saying that after the Wii U had one of the worst lineups in launch history.
He's got no choice but to try and bad mouth the competition by thr looks of it. After all the Wii U is a sinking ship and it's had only a few games worth playing since it's release.
Apparantly BF4 is only in 720P or close.. wonder what the Xbox will be like .. bit dissapointing seeing this but the article expresses it still looks great and is a huge improvement to current gen.

need to change my vote to xbox one now as I've bought it but how do I take off the ps4 vote? I kinda did it as a laugh when people were trolling msoft like many others?
It's confirmed to be running at 'a resolution higher than 720p' so not sure what exactly. The medium settings thing seems a bit unusual though. Haven't seen that mentioned anywhere else
So if six-axis is used for leaning and peeking Im guessing the touchpad is for grenades and medpacks etc?
