Disproportionate (but then again, that looks like it was just after a work-out)

Like Bruce Lee said, strength does not neccessarily mean size - would rather be Brad Pitt size and very strong...

Is that Craig from Big Brother 1?

How is he Disproportionate?

I dont want to take up smoking + having a lot of coffee because its not healthy lol so what else can I do, if I jog 2.5miles every other day should that be enough? I do kind of look like that but a lot less defined.

Unfortunately I do more than that and would argue that I dont look like that - but I think much of that idea is down to metabolism. The running will likely get you closer to such a goal...

Gordy - care to guesstimate what fat % Tyler Durden has?

Remember that I'm no expert but this is what I see...

Huge shoulder muscles, very well defined abdominal rim (at top of groin slanting up) yet pectorals aren't as easy to see and abs aren't as 'strong looking'...

Lol obviously I wouldn't recommend taking up smoking and drinking copious amounts of caffeine. :p

Although it's hard to know for sure exactly what Brad did a lot of people have reported that he was on a very carb restrictive diet for Fight Club which would make sense since Atkins was all the rage amongst celebs at the time.

The definition you are talking about comes along with having a low bodyfat. To get that fat percentage down you need to combine a good diet with plenty of cardio so the running you are doing is perfect. Be sure to continue lifting weights in your usual manner, keep your protein intake high (Around 1-1.5 grams per pound of bodyweight each day) and just lower your carbohydrates until you are eating around 500 calories below your maintenance level. Over time you will peel off all that fat and you will gain definition around your muscles.

I would guess around 7% give or take.

Your average bodybuilder would have far better defined abs at 7% than Brad does in the pic that was posted. But it looks to me like he never trained them with resistance so taking that in to account I think 7% is a pretty decent guess.

Is 7% healthy? Thats very low.

Well Brad Pitt isn't 7% all year round. He got that low specifically for the film. 7% is fine for me. I'm between 7-8% most of the year round now. When I was bulking I obviously got a lot higher. It's down to you really. :)

Oh yeah, Randleman is seriously built. His nickname is pretty apt.

1. Who the hell is that queer?
2. He wouldn't touch Bruce Lee ;)
3. If you had his build would you grease yourself up in that homo way for pics too?

i agree he has no **** on bruce lee lol :D

yea, I'd be quite happy with brad in troy. This thread is going to cause many arguments. As some people like big and some dont. I for one dont want to be massive! Just want to get to a good level, cut down and maintain it. I'm getting there, few more months....

As for being Tyler Durden sort of build being harder to achieve than people with lots more muscle (i.e my gran)... You're very missinformed. Don't get me wrong, he looks fine, but really he's just low bodyfat with a bit of muscle. Hardly gonna take years in the gym to achieve that? Cut some fat and maybe train once a week.

Thats what I was thinking. I cant really see what all the fuss is about with him. But if people had said brad pitt as achilles in troy then they might have something! I think that would be a good size for me - greek god explosive power!

Edit - doh, beaten to it!

Whats also very important with Tyler is the muscle tone and proportion - if it were that easy then all the Muscle Heros in here would do well to reach it...

There is no such thing as muscle "tone". Thats just down to low body fat again. If you got down to 7% bodyfat I think you would be surprised just how similar your physique would look to his.

I agree that overall his has nice muscle shape but this is purely down to genetics. When he bulked up for Troy he looked far better in my opinion. Well, apart from his legs. If I remember correctly he had to use a leg double. :p
