There is no such thing as muscle "tone". Thats just down to low body fat again. If you got down to 7% bodyfat I think you would be surprised just how similar your physique would look to his.

Its not just low body fat - the way in which the muscle hangs depends on the amount of residual tension in the muscle - if someone suffers from hypertonia they are unable to relax their muscles - hence the concept of tone @ rest...

How would you explain saggy muscles if there is no such thing as tone?

With down-lighting I do look fairly similar to him now - I have 10% bodyfat, good tone and defined muscles... but you need all three I would say, uncluding favourable lighting

I think his point is that "muscle tone" is a neurological quantity and not something you can train or improve (well you can if you are either side of normal tone, trying to deviate from that though isn't a good idea), if you want your muscles to look better and more defined you reduce the amount of fat on them.

This may sound like a stupid ass question but how do you measuure your body fat %'age

Not a stupid question. Many people dont know how to. Theres a body caliper test where calipers grab ** skin folds for measurements. Theres also an electronic method which connects to your foot and palm i think (long time since i've done it). Also I think theres a method done under water which is the most accurate.

Here's a page which I jus googled http://www.getfit121.co.uk/articles/Fat.htm

Bit of a childish comment.

Steve Reeves had an excellent physique for someone back in the day and its somewhat like a swimmer build or like a mens health physique now.

Seriously? Would you like to expand on that a little? I could understand someone saying that to a pic of coleman due to his freakish size/look, but I really can't see what is offensive about the look steve reeves had.

Well dunno about free but they were legal :)
Yeh, back when he was ~15 he was able to get them for free, the doctor would give em to him, in the form of injections afaik. These H&S restrictions are annoying tbh.
