Who are you voting for on Thursday?

Still dodging i see. :o

Because I do not have to justify personal things about myself or what I say elsewhere on the internet to anyone here, no more than you have to do, to me :) FWIW yes I post on Stormfront, it isn't a big secret which is why I was happy to use the same username there. I am not a racist and you won't find me espousing racist views over there.

This is the last I will comment on that because the thread is already being derailed and becoming about me, which although seems to fascinate some people, isn't what the thread is about.

But their new policies are virtually identical to their previous ones, just dressed up in a different way. Can you not see this?

The BNP are tacitly racist. While they are able to convince you that they're not, it doesn't change the fact that their underlying agenda is white-biased. They'll never get enough power to do their worst, but them gaining more support is frightening enough as to what it says about the disillusioned youth of the country.

I would imagine, and I'm not being nasty here, that you are totally their target audience, and you have appeared to buy their new approach to the same old policy.

I wouldn't be so sure mate! This is what people thought about the Nazi's...
There are so many people at the moment, evident in this thread, that are so angry with politicians, firstly for the banking crisis, and now the expenses scandals, that they were go to the smaller parties, because they provide clear, cut out policies, that people feel are right, because they're so angry.
My worry is, that although they won't get enough support to fully gain power (Talking about a General Election now) that another party, example Lib Dems, could get in and swing it their way. Lib Dems want to change our Voting System to Proportional Representation, which allows the smaller extreme parties to get more power, this is exactly how the Nazi's did it, I know it's a bit of an extreme comparison, but i can see it happening.

I hope that someone like the Tories get in, the 'lesser of two evils' in my opinion, and are able to sort out the country at least enough to make people drift away from the extremes, before they're voted in, and this country gets itself into a real mess.

That's my opinion anyway, and I'm not even old enough to vote :(

You'll be surprised just how much the EU is worried about infringing national sovereignty. On the whole, the legislation the EU pass only has power because we allow them to.

You don't care about voting for your MEP? Hehe, there's your answer!

should have voted really, like i said before the letter was sent to the wrong address. I won't complain about the outcome of the vote :p (conservative) but i have the right to express my views nevertheless

In your world you'd be happy paying builders £700m if you got a £400m stadium out of it.

In the real world we're not all that silly. Although EU supporters seem to be.

Although I dont quite agree on your race/immigration issues, you do raise a very valid point.

Not only do we receive 75-80% of the money we give to Europe back (can you just imagine how much paperwork and waste that generates!) - we also get told what we can and cant spend it on.

In my home town, we've had to build a £300k wall between 2 roads when there was a perfectly good barrier in place, and had £100k spent on some stupid "art" - metal balls on roundabouts.

Just wondering if perhaps the town could have spent £400k a little more wisely if we were allowed to spend it on what was needed, rather than rubbish?

Thanks for answering. I am now 100% satisfied and I can go on my lunch safe in the knowledge that I wasn't imagining the racism in your posts.

Aye. That aside, I'm glad that you are. Complete apathy is just as bad as blind emotion. ;)

Of course it's about you, silly :) As a typical BNP voter, it has to be questioned whether there's a correlation between your racist character (as shown by stormfront membership) and your political views.

You can still vote in person, you don't need the polling card, just some ID.

matt, I know what you're talking about. My (impoverished) home town was up in arms recently when I returned to visit family. Apparently the council are 'having' to erect a statue to the tune of around a million quid. Never mind that social housing is falling down, the streets are riddled in potholes and the local water is arsenic-poisoned. We need irrelevant statues!

If we're getting 80% of it back, why not just pay 20% of what we are now and decide what to do with the rest ourselves? :p But I'm sure it's not that simple in real life.

You seem to be missing the fact that the EU do more than simply spend our money for us or even on us.

It's not as if we're being 'ripped off' - we're getting exactly what we're paying for.

So paying them for
" commissioners have no problem with straight bananas, it's the crooked ones they don't like so much"
Under rule Regulation (EC) 2257/94

OR

Back in the 1980s, the European Commission hatched a plan to re-name the British sausage an "emulsified high-fat offal tube

They are well woth the money :)

You may be right regarding the anger that the general public is showing towards politicians, however, I think even those who are disillusioned with the way things are currently would not suggest that the BNP would do the same (if not worse). Talking generally here, yes all the parties were wrong in their behaviour, but the intelligent majority will see that it would be much worse in the hands of the BNP.

Then vote in MEPs that aren't such idiots. Don't suddenly jump the gun and demand we leave.

A genuine question to you, and I'd like you to be honest (that may be asking too much);

What would your perfect society be? Do you feel that the BNP can achieve that, or at least closer to that, than any other party? If so, why?

As you have moaned about this thread being about you (though I know you're hardly surprised), I think I would like just to know what your perfect world would be. Perhaps you will reply, perhaps not, but I am genuinely interested in how a (evidently) educated and articulate man becomes a follower of such radical viewpoints.

Why don't you take this to msn or something..its boring the **** out of me.

This thread is about " Who are you voting for on Thursday? " ok

The major reason I believe people vote for BNP (including myself) is that the sense of culture and identity of Britain is being brushed aside and labelled as a pest to this new, amazing and wonderful "multi cultural society." How the british people are slobs and lazy ******* who're incapable of running a country, and funnily enough, these same lazy and incapable lot are more often than not pointed out as being typical white british.

Even though people may not believe it (I simply dont care either way), I dont see myself as being racist. 8-10 years ago I was all for skilled workers (doctors, nurses etc) coming into the country and adopting our way of life. I have absolutely no problem with that, however thats not whats happened is it?

The government completely erradicated boarder control and allowed all kinds of random foreigners into the country, including foreigners that simply would not accept or adopt our way of life. They came, brought their families and also brought their ways of life with them and refused to except anything else.

The thing is, British people people are extremely tollerant and will get along with any bugger that squads down next to them. However its got to the point now where people feel threatened that their way of life is being undermined because they dont fit into a stereotype of what the "government" wants us all to be.

People use the word racism for this, but I truly dont think it is. The british people have put up with an absolutely horrid government for so long that they're doing what they believe they need to do to protect themselves and their families, and this involves not voting Labour, Tory or Lib Dem as non of them offer any real alternative to the problems they face.

I'm voting for conservative. OK. Why don't you not read the thread if it's boring you? OK. Any thread regarding voting is going to entail some discussion, especially where the BNP is concerned.

Lest we forget, you're on a discussion forum. Pretty boring too if the responses were just one word; con, lab, lab, con...etc. There's always the ignore function. I've never been on ignore before, I might like it.
