Who are you voting for on Thursday?

Did anyone else vote for Libertas or the English Democrats. What do you guys think of these two parties?
I really wish we'd heard more from them, from what I found looking into them I support their general position, the EU is going nowhere no matter what some people might wish, but it definitely needs reforms and to be more democratic.

UKIP generally seems pretty nasty when you look into them :/

Their leader has claimed 2 million pounds in Euro MP expenses, not bad for someone who apparently wants nothing to do with the EU.

I voted at 2 minutes to 10 and the ladies were busy packing everything away, so they were amazingly nice about getting it all out again. Quite a funny experience as there was not another soul around - mind you, we do live in the middle of no-where.

I am seriously worried that due to the proportional representation for the EU parliament, that the BNP will get their first seat which makes them look like a proper grown up political party that people may then take more seriously. Isn't this how Hitler began?

Well to be fair, polling can't close until 10pm by law so they didn't have much choice. It was their own fault for packing up early! They played the "there's not a soul for miles, nobody'll come in now!" gamble and lost. Sucks for them :p

Still early though , most will be done in the evening

83 out of over 500 voted at his polling station, shocking, i'd have thought there would have been more of a turn out :(.

To be fair though...I've not really seen any type of add campaign for any parties...only had like one flyer through my door as I said earlier I think.

we/I got loads, labour, conservative, BNP, UKIP, green and so on. must all really want my vote :D

Not sure what the fuss is about from the UKIP, I folded over 600 forms, no matter which way I did it they were bottom of the list of 15 parties to vote for.

95% of the votes were at the top of the form, I as in a Conservative area so you can guess what the vote was.

What they should have paid more attention to was advrtising themselves that was the main complaint of most voters "who are these people" as only the conservatives had sent anything around.

Rather revealing and downright worrying speech by a Labour minister who is a Muslim.

Fixed.

I never thought I'd hear the word "inshallah" muttered during a British politics speech, and not just once either. If he simply had to bring religious tones into it, what was wrong with 'God willing' or something? And don't tell me that's what inshallah means because I'm not Arabic, or Muslim. I'm English and that's the langauge I speak. I expect the same from my parliament and politicians.

That whole "At this rate the whole of parliament will be Muslim" remark was clearly intended to be inflammatory. People like that boil my ****. It's funny you know? In the 60s an 'Asian Muslim gentleman' told my mate's dad that "We'll own this country one day, you'll see. Not a drop of blood needs be spilled, we'll over-run you and then run you into the ground."

Not being funny, and just to reiterate I didn't vote BNP :p, but things like this really make you think. They do me, anyway.

I definitely think this needs to get a wider audience. I only found out about it today myself, although the speech was from late last year.

I voted Libertas, fully knowing that I'd probably wasted my vote. My only hope is that they gain a higher number of votes than expected and their profile gets raised for the next European elections.

I totally agree with everything they say. The European Union is a good idea but for historical reasons it's been terribly implemented and needs immediate reform.

I'd never vote for the English Democrats though. I don't agree with most of their policies and the party is a total shambles. Didn't their London mayor candidate withdraw from the party the day before the election?

:mad::mad: Damn i'm so glad i voted for BNP after watching that , i'm utterly disgusted

You're not disgusted by the benefits cheating, wife battering, lazy and racist BNP councillors though?

Well I didn't vote Labour or BNP, does that mean I'm allowed to be disgusted by both elements? Note I said elements, not parties. I'm sorry but any MP spouting the inflammatory crap shown in that video should have been booted from office on the spot. See how cocky he was then, and "inshallah" he'd have been gutted at being the downfall of his own wise-arsed prediction.

Only three council results in so far, how long do they normally take?

This. It seems to be taking forever, I've only really paid attention to the generals before now. Not only that but we have to wait until Sunday for the Euro results? No fair! :(

:D
