I know you previously mentioned you have the weekend to do this but as I've said before don't rush this.
If you do then it's going to look ****. Take your time and get it right. Also you'll find the lacquer seals the primer/paint work and (hopefully) prevents stone chips = don't skimp on this!
with regards to the painting process...fine coats of everything. too thick, its just gonna run
Right best photos I can do with how my K&N is setup.

Hope this helps![]()
Anyone ever have a problem with the fuel level indication? I have been noticing for a while that once the yellow light comes on for 50 miles and I fill up, that there seems to be more fuel left in the tank than expected.
Today I was cutting it fine on the way home, got into the garage with '1 mile' until empty indicated. I kept the car running until 0 miles. About 3 seconds later it jumped up to 20 miles left so I just hit the road again and headed home. There must surely be more fuel in the tank than suggested.
When I filled up this morning the fuel gauge showed slightly under full. What could I do to check this?
In my metal I've had 0 miles on the trip computer and when brimmed I've only put 40 litres in when its a 45 litre tank.
Well jel, who'd you get it off? I've been after one for a while.
Does anyone know at what RPM the rev limiter kicks in on a standard map? I'm fairly certain my car is mapped as the EML light hasn't come on despite ~1500 miles decatted, and tonight it went right up to 7k before I changed up and no rev limiter kicking in at all![]()
You coming to the RR day on 24th Nov? Be interesting to see how your car compares to mine on the rollers....tempted to run mine again!
