Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Aye, loads of people went with those terrible 4" slash cut, thin walled bags of ****. Was really quite pointless considering a little bit of saving bagged you a Milltek or a Mountune, both of which sounded excellent but weren't antisocial. I do miss my MK 6 ST but would never own one again or the new one either, the interiors are just too cheap. That being said both are brilliant fun to drive and that's all that really matters. :)

To be fair, the MK 7 interior is a big step up in terms of build quality compared to the MK 6. The seats are the nicest seats i have ever sat in.

Yes it is not a BMW 5 series inside, but then it is a brand new 200bhp, fully loaded hatchback that can be had for ~£16k.

One of the only things putting me off a MK6 Fez ST is the interior quality, I want a significant step up in interior quality when I change car, and it isn't a 'significant' step up over my base level Polo interior. :(

If you get a looked after face-lift car then the interior really isn't all that bad. Especially compared to its main rivals like the clio 172/182.

Agreed big exhausts on these cars look stupid. Miltek and Mountune exhausts look absolutely perfect :)

Do you have any good interior pics laying around? Looking online they are either low quality photos from adverts or stock images which never look right because of the lighting etc.

Extended it to 5 years for the princely sum of...£260

Can't believe it is so cheap to be honest. £260 for an extra 2 years of manufacturers warranty is very good. You have to buy it before first registration though but then it is transferable (it stays with the car)

Damn I didn't get that option :(

I was really disappointed with the interior of the Fiesta but little bits like the heated seats and heated windscreen makes up for it.

Unfortunately I will be selling my ST2 next month as the motorway miles I'm doing warrant a more comfortable ride. Going for a Golf GTD.

Had my ST-2 a year this month and I have loved ever min of it. The mods so far are:

MP215 (since 400 miles now on 7300)
Mountune Induction Hose (blue)
Mountune Boost pipes inc hard pipe (blue)
Mountune Quick Shifter

Looking to add some more mods in the next couple of months ready for FITP :) Maybe the Cobb rear mount and some Springs unsure which tho!

Here's a couple of pictures

Could that wing not at least be made to look like it fits properly?

Lose the daft stickers, normal ish aerial get the wing modified to fit, colour code it and it'd be fine

The overlap at the sides looks terrible. Its too small a gap to look deliberate, either needs to be set back from the body a bit to create an obvious gap or narrowed and pulled into the boot to make it look like an extension of the boot

It just looks a bit cheap when a bit of attention to detail could sort it out. The spoiler on a focus RS, whilst a bit laity still looks well finished and integrated, surely that's the aim here?

Woot. Just had confirmation in writing from Ford that the mp215 mountune kit is compatible with the 5 year extended warranty. Excellent news.

Guys I've seen a Fiesta ST2 near me supposedly immaculate, only 5k miles on the clock, 14 plate, £12995 it's up for which seems reasonable. It's in solid red. I could live with it. 28 months warranty which makes it 8 months old.

What are the differences between ST2 and ST3? What is standard kit on the ST2? Just wondering what I'd be missing out on and what would be an "option" if found fitted to this ST2 when I go and have a look on Sunday.
